Thank you to all the Cascadia parents and members that helped fundraise for the SOS by purchasing an anti-bullying pink shirt!

Thank you Cascadia Martial Arts Parksville for the generous donation of $250! These funds will be going towards the SOS Child, Youth, and Family Programs. Cascadia raised the money during their Pink Shirt Day and Anti-bullying awareness fundraiser that was conducted for a week.

We look forward to collaborating with the Club in anti-bullying initiatives in the future. SOS provides financial assistance for local children and youth to attend recreation activities that they would otherwise be unable to afford, through our Recreation Assistance for Children and Youth program. This includes programs at Cascadia. This wonderful partnership enriches local children and youth’s lives.

We had a super fun time inviting World Class Muay Thai to the studio this weekend for a friendly in house competition.

The Striker Series competition was postponed and rescheduled for June. BUT our guys were determined to follow through on their goal of competing, so we organized a small competiton here at the studio.

We invited some young athletes from out of town, and they all did a fantastic job😀🥊💪

Team Cascadia competed at Canada Open in Vancouver today.

Matteo Bennett won silver in the Junior -73kg division losing narrowly to the Chinese Taipei National Champion in the finals. He was one of only two junior BC athletes to reach the podium.

Jared Dudley fought a close match with the eventual bronze medalist and showed huge progress since his last tournament.

Both Rowan Spitz and Caelyn Corcione made their international debut and finished in the top 8.

We couldn't be prouder of their performances!

Next up is BC Open this weekend where the rest of the team will be competing.
