If you have old towels and pillowcases you’re ready to part with (no pillows or comforters, please!), please drop them off at the injured animal drop off box, located in the parking lot directly across from the gift shop!

Hello there wonderful ones.

The passion of learning and working within the "bodies" capabilities has always excited me, hence why I was drawn to the teachings and practice of Yoga in its truest form. Learning and growing with the foundational limbs.

I just wanted to share that over the past few months I have been working hard and devoting my time into a new practice and treatment of body work called "ZenThai Shiatsu".
Which I am now so very excited to be able to offer treatment sessions to you!

Knowing I wanted to dive deeper into different Modalities of health and wellness this practice has been an evolution of my heart and passion. Sharing and basing the treatment off the teachings of Thai Massage, Zen Shiatsu, European Osteopathy, and Qigong .

The connection I feel towards "ZenThai" while giving or receiving the treatment is the same feeling I get when I am in the walking in the forest, grounded, able to fuel up and let go.

Each session is an offering of time and allowing trusted guidance to let the "bodies" open and release anything stored, as well as opening parts of the self up that have been stuck.

It is a hands on fully clothed guided sequence on a Thai Massage floor cushion, of movements, held pressures and openings to listen and breathe into. Trusting the process of letting go of your expectations and also your limitations.

In each session it is as if you are in a state of practice, mediation, breath awareness and massage all at the same time, leaving feeling refreshed and open.

Friday’s Fun

It’s been a very long time since I’ve done a colour correction
This was last night’s after work project
My fellow hair artists know how unpredictable these can be …especially with box color, and this one in particular was henna 😳
This experience had many stages in the 6 hours removing colour, toning & trying to achieve a desired result of what her natural shades are
( very dark brown and silver/grey )
Not 100% the first round, but this gem of a lady and I are pretty happy thus far.
