One of my favourite food is mushrooms. ๐ I love finding recipes that include them. Most of us are very familiar with button mushrooms but there are so many other ones; Oyster, Shiitaki, Lion's Mane, Turkey Tail, Chanterelle, Cremini and so much more. I will venture to say that there are probably some that we have not discovered yet.
Did you know that mushrooms are the "fruit" of the body of the fungus, or Mycelium? I find this whole kingdom fascinating. ๐
The recipe below calls for button mushrooms but if you feel a bit more adventurous, substitute them for a different kind.
