This Weekend is our 67th Annual Postage Stamp Show and Sale. Do you love scrapbooking, junk-journalling, card making? Are you a stamp collector? You'll find vintage stamps with flowers, animals, you name it... at the show. We have dozens of books filled with gorgeous stamps that are only 10 cents each ! Exhibits on birds, flowers, Canadian history and more. The show is free with great draw prizes. Come and check us out. Sherbrooke United Church, near the water tower:) Show opens at 9:30 am. Our Red Rosebud Geraniums are beginning to fill our little greenhouse with beautiful rosy colour.

It's with great enthusiam I can finally say that the Heirloom Rosebud Geraniums I've been carefully tending all winter, and spring, are FINALLY starting to set flowers :)

Today, Sept. 5th, I'm listing several Rosebud Geraniums for sale in FB Marketplace. It's been a very, very hot summer in the greenhouse and it's taken until now to have plants ready for sale. Please check out FB Marketplace. Keyword Search is "rosebud geranium" :)

This is a regular (not rosebud) geranium I purchased from a garden center over 12 years ago. Several years ago it produced 2 different flowers - the original coral flowers and a new coral and white flower. This new flower is called a "sport" or mutant and each flower is a different coral and white design:)
This year I have rooted cuttings taken from the mother plant. I can't wait to see if the cuttings produce both flower colours on the same plant as well🌸

More plants moving from the house into the greenhouse ....🌸

Spring has arrived and the greenhouse is warm enough now, through the night, that I can move all my Rosebud Geraniums out from under lights in their "Plant Room" into some natural sunlight. The top row, under this set of lights, shows a few of the heirloom Red Rosebud Geraniums I'll soon have for sale🌸.

Fall has arrived and our Red and Apple Blossom Rosebud Geraniums have sold out. Thank you to everyone who purchased one. I am so happy to have been able to share these lovely, heirloom flowers with you. All the best for a lovely fall and winter. Sue :)

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me for a Red Rosebud and/or an Appleblossom Rosebud Geranium. Some 'Red Rosebud' Geraniums are still available. The red are a lovely rosy red.
Background: The original plant came from Ireland about 100 years ago:) The 'stock' plant I inherited is a clone / cutting from a succession of plants propagated from this original geranium.
I'm thrilled that so many folks are keenly interested in growing these heirloom flowers.
