I don't know about you, but every January, my Home Goals Math doesn't add up. You know what I'm talking about...you take 1 fresh new year + 1 cozy season and subtract 1,000 pieces of holiday decor and your left with a house that feels empty and stale.

I'm no mathematician, but I don't think a shopping spree is the best answer. I think what you need to do is (re)establish your home goals.

➕ Does your current living situation support your desired lifestyle? (Is it affordable? Can you entertain? Are you hesitating adding a new baby or dog you desperately want because your home isn't set up for it?)
➕ If you could change one thing about your home, what would it be?

You, your family, and your dreams are worthy of time and energy it takes to evaluate where you're living and if it's still supporting your life like it should. WHEN YOUR CLIENTS GET THEIR CONDITIONAL OFFER ACCEPTED 💃
I am ecstatic for my clients that had their conditional offer accepted this morning!!
When working with a Realtor to purchase a home make sure your Realtor is working for you!
My clients had counter offered with their best and final which was a fair offer for the current market. Part of my strategy is to explain to the sellers why the offer is a good offer. I sent an email with the comparables for the neighbourhood both sold and active as well as touched on a few other points to demonstrate why my clients offer was a great priced offer! I always give the sellers information about my clients and how much they love the home to show that there is people behind the paperwork.
All of this is so important. Not providing this information and taking this step could have ended up with my clients offer not being accepted.
I am so excited for my clients to move back to Peterborough to be closer to family 🤍

1. Hang a "First Christmas in New Home" ornament, complete with 2022 so you never forget the year you moved in.

2. New home, new traditions! What do you want to do differently here? Have a family sleepover in the living room watching Christmas movies? Decorate cookies around the kitchen island? Place your Christmas tree in front of the large bay window? Start a new tradition this year!

3. Take a family picture next to the tree...and do it in the same spot every year!
