A year and a half ago, a small group of parents and volunteers brought together 8 young adults with Down Syndrome to create Hearts for Joy. These wonderful individuals make all sorts of items, learning about collaboration and developing an entrepreneurial spirit. We have been so proud of these artists and celebrate them as they host their grand opening of their first store in downtown Peterborough this Saturday.

The work Five Counties does with youngsters in our community is simply amazing. They helped Luke when he was young and this is just our small way of giving back to them.
