Finally, we are able to spend time each day with the horses. Wally typically wanders around the farm with the dog, and Elly sleeps in the car. And even when they both join me, I know Remy and Reisha (even Grizzly) do their best to keep us safe. This has been a much missed area of my life. I've cried often at the loss of this hobby. Horses As Teachers
Today the horses helped show me how being a leader can look from a healthy and unhealthy perspective. Sometimes when we haven't properly healed our wounds (insecurities, anger, pain, and traumas) we accidentally make a lot of decisions from those unhealed, unhealthy places, and that can then inflict that pain onto someone who doesn't deserve that or understand why you may be being so rude or unloving. So by offering a safe place to make mistakes, finding healthy influencal people to talk with and learning how to heal your wounds, we then begin the walk of learning to live from a place of love. Only in love can we experience our greatest growths. And I'm so glad our farm is able to offer that to Buddy, that it was offered to Griz Remy and most importantly myself.
