Hello everyone! Welcome to the for July, hosted by ! If you want to join us, please message her for the details. We want to give some love to the other and often overlooked holidays throughout the year.

July 11th is National Mojito day! Mojitos are a Cuban drink but interestingly there is debate on it’s origins, as some roots of it have been discovered as early as 1586 (!!!) It’s summer and a nice mojito at the end of the day is a perfect way to enjoy the last rays of sunshine floating on the pool. A mojito consists of white rum, sugar, line juice, sparkling water and mint. It’s typically served in a high ball, but I go rogue and serve in a mason jar hihihi

My card features some of build-a-drink dir cuts: mason jar add-on and die cut and some of the fruit wedges from the original build-a-drink set. I also used this adorable critter from - stamps set “friends who fiesta”.

As it is Father’s Day weekend here in the US, we are honouring dads and how dads try to make the world laugh with their “dad jokes”. Our goal is not necessarily to make a dad joke but to make you laugh! We have made this a monthly endeavour because honestly, we all need laughter. If you want to join us, please message us!

I used a stamp set that has made a show in this here hop before, but I just love and it had to get my own!! So I used this excellent “what the cluck?!” Stamp set by Unity stamps and made this card… for my brother… who is Born on father’s day! Stamped, coloured with copics ans coloured pencils. Background is an altenew “fine tuile” stencil.

On June 15th it’s World Martini Day ! It was first celebrated in 2012 by Belvedere vodka.

I made this card using oxide inks and a stamp I’ve had in my stash for ever !! It’s not the best card, there are plenty of mistakes and touch ups… it’s just like i had one too many martinis when I created it , but I like the colours and the general feel of it so I’ll post it anyway haha

I needed to make a couple of birthday cards for kids this weekend and dug into my stash to make this adorable card. I used a vintage stamp set and an newish stencil set to make this adorable scene for a little boy who adores dinosaurs 🙂

Welcome to the Gina K Appreciation Day Hop. A group of us have come together to celebrate all things Gina!! If you know anything at all about Gina, you know that she’s one of the OG creators and YouTubers. She has thousands of hours of video tutorials and is endlessly creative. We are convinced if she was our neighbour we’d just have to be Besties because her kind, loving and generous heart shines for us all to see so very clearly. We wanted to take a day to highlight and her amazing products on the odd chance that maybe you haven’t heard of her yet ( can’t be possible right!!??) and send her lots of crafty love. Today is hosted by &

I did a full Gina card today. All Products and all techniques Gina! I used the “floral” stencil and used her inks (wild wisteria, blue lagoon and grass green) and used a few stamps from the Daisies Forever layering stencil bundle. I also used a technique I picked up from Gina and I use all the time now (cause it’s AMAZING) - I stepped up my flowers with wood pencils to highlight them. Lastly, I used some Gina K embellishments (that I also use all over the place cause they are, to my eye, perfect) and layered my card à la Gina. And Voilà! A 100% Gina card!

Gina, thank you for inspiring me daily! I discovered you scouring YT when I got back to crafting to relieve some stress from my crazy job and was immediately taken by your creativity, your person and your business savvy. You are a true inspiration to me in all aspects and I love learning from you and using what I learn in my own projects, both crafty and otherwise. Have a wonderful day!

Welcome to the Stashbusters 2024 Paper Crafting Hop!
Stashbusters 2024 Hop is hosted by Armen , Hilary , and Ave . Every other Tuesday, the Stashbusters post 3-6 creative, paper-based projects to share. Our goal is to use the items and supplies we already own to create between 81 – 162 projects each, over the course of 2024.

Today’s hop theme is “Mother’s Day or Women’s Celebration card with Floral Theme, made with no more than 5 supplies.” For this challenge, the card base, adhesives and scissors and/or paper trimmer were not counted as supplies.

Limiting myself to 5 supplies was quite a challenge, I often wanted to use 6 or 7 … or 8 or 9 (🤣).
But I chose to maximize my ink pads and my light and heavy brushing to get different shades.
I also limited the use of embellishments and let the flowers shine.
Finally, I used complete sets to give myself some choices of sentiments and used a complete set of water colour markers (zigs) to make the colourful card.

I made a card using . This menopause set is just hilarious. Though I’m not in menopause (yet), I’m sure getting some small symptoms and ugh! This set made me think of my mom +++. I was inspired by a card by and added a few more sentiments and made this hilarious comic cover!

I made this card using MFT products. I’ve wanted this shoe for a long time (I love converse shoes) and they recently re-released the set and die and i couldn’t help myself and splurged the set. This day was the perfect time to crack it open and start playing. I love how this card turned out ❤️ and I love this day - cause I often wear two different shoes - both on purpose and by accident!

This month the theme is sympathy and/or one layer card. I was inspired by a recent post by on grey scale creations and decided to use of of Gina K’s stamp sets I haven’t touched in a while. I embossed these beautiful feathers, inked them with light feet ink and layered the coordinating die cut outline. Finally finished it off with a sentiment from the set. I love the look and will make a few more of these for my stash!
