January was a fun wintery month! We spent two weeks doing winter activities and two weeks learning about our polar regions.🐧🐻‍❄️🥶❄️☃️

Toddler made aquariums for Oceans Week! This was such a fun process! Rock lobsters, pastel resist water color coral, glitter fish, cardboard tube octopuses, water color fishies, egg carton and pipe cleaner plants, seashells snd a secret message in a bottle. :)

Edit: not toddlers, big kids! 3 and 4 are quite big. :)

Messy play is the BEST play! Oobleck is so fun (and easy!!). Cannot wait to do this again. :)

We are simply having fun!!

The fun just keeps on going!! Over the past month we’ve taken an imaginary trip to Italy 🇮🇹 where we made the BIGGEST meatballs, painted a Mona Lisa and made beautiful Venetian masks!!
During Friendship week, we spoke about what it means to be a good friend and reinforced this sentiment with many fun activities.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day by making luv bug crowns and enjoyed yummy love monster cupcakes!

OPEN HOUSE: Everyday is open house at Parksites!!❤️ We welcome you to come see us during our class time but we simply ask that you email or call to book an appointment with us. We look forward to meeting you and your child!

We just completed a week on the Gingerbread man! What a week!! Everyday he left us a suprise like fun activities, books and gingerbread dough to make cookies! We had fun making gingerbread cookies but of course they ran away to play a game of hide and seek! They left us clues all around so we could find them! It was so much fun!!!
It’s all about Christmas for the next two weeks!!

We have had an incredibly fun filled two weeks at Parksites!! Celebrating harvest and Thanksgiving,we made a vegetable soup and cranberry sauce! Last week it was the perfect week to learn about the fall! We enjoyed a lovely walk in Terra Cotta woods where we discovered mushrooms, insects and many colourful leaves!!!🍁🍂 We also had our first Karate class with Sensai Meaghan!!! We love Karate!!! For the next two weeks it’s all about Halloween 🎃 BOO!!!

Farm week was great fun!! We visited Pace farm, made some butter and milked a cow!! 🐐🐓🐄🐇🐏🐴
Next week is harvest week!! We will make a vegetable soup!

Apple week was so much fun and tasty!!!! We were busy little chefs!! We made apple cake, apple sauce and apple crisp! 🍎🍎🍎🍎
Next week is farm week!! 🐄🐖🐐🐓

We had so much fun exploring with Colors this week!!! Next week is Apple week! 🍎🍎
