Fitness Mistake: Focusing Only on Glutes⁠
Initially, Liz concentrated solely on perfecting her glutes, but soon realized a balanced workout routine is essential for overall fitness. Incorporating cardio, core exercises, and upper-body workouts helped her achieve better results.⁠

Nutrition Mistake: Overdoing Blueberries and White Cod⁠
Liz adopted a diet heavy on 14 blueberries daily and white cod every day. She later learned that variety in her diet—incorporating diverse fruits, vegetables, proteins, and grains—was crucial for sustaining her health and fitness goals.⁠

These experiences taught Liz valuable lessons early on, guiding her towards a more balanced approach to fitness and nutrition.

The summer program is aimed at helping young athletes enhance their performance and care for their bodies. Designed for girls aged 11-14, this program focuses on injury prevention, weight training basics, and maintaining flexibility and agility.

Over six sessions, participants will learn proper body mechanics for training and performance, the fundamentals of weight lifting, and how to build positive pre- and post-workout habits. The program also covers specific exercises to prevent injuries to ankles, hips, knees, and back, along with basic recovery exercises and injury management guidelines.

Sessions are August 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, and 16, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM
$210 for all six sessions or $40 per drop-in session.

Policy Update for House Camp Members

Effective September 1st, we are implementing a $50 setup fee for all new unlimited class memberships. This fee will help us manage administrative costs associated with membership setups and cancellations. Here’s what you need to know:

First-Time Members: The $50 setup fee will be credited as a discount on your second month's payment. This means your second month will be $200 instead of $250.

Existing Members: If you cancel your membership and later decide to rejoin, the $50 setup fee will apply, and it will not be credited as a discount.

This update aims to ensure that we can keep more spots open for members with active subscriptions and streamline our administrative processes.
