We have a date!... Our annual Arts & Crafts Fair at PHHS will be held on November 23rd, 2024 at Port Hope High School.

THE 2023 Arts & Crafts Fair at Port Hope High School IS TOMORROW!!

Vendors will be ready from 10am-3pm with their handcrafted items including holiday decorations, knitted and crocheted pieces, soaps and bath bombs, home decor and so much more!

Our hospitality students have been working hard to offer a delicious lunch of soup or chilli. We will also have hot/cold beverages for purchase. There will be raffle tickets available for a chance to win some amazing prizes crafted by our vendors!

Today's vendor spotlight features two of our very own student groups, our PHHS Student Government and our GSA...

Port Hope High School's Student Government have been hard at work hand-painting wood ornaments and baking cookies for the Arts & Crafts Fair. All the money raised will go towards providing more opportunities for all students.

Our PHHS GSA students have been working very hard to offer you a few special products this year, with all proceeds going to support inclusive opportunities at PHHS...They will be offering
delicious 'Genderbread' as a great way to start conversations about the intersection of anatomy, gender expression, and sexual orientation. They have also handcrafted progress flag heart ornaments - that are perfect to add to your tree or to keep up all year round! Students will be there all day selling these items, and can't wait to say hi!

Hi, I’m Sheryl, creator of Lel Papel. I’m a local handmade artist with a passion for stationery and pretty paperie. I’ve always loved stickers and journals as a child, and I found that as an adult, producing bespoke items helped with my mental health. My goal is to share my creations and inspire others to seek joy in the little things.

Lel Papel offers base journals ready to be personalized, ephemera, notepads, sticker packs, specimen cards, bookmarks and tags, as well as resin accessories and button pins. A touch of humor, pretty and whimsy makes all the difference!

Hi there, I am your host Roberta, and a number of years back I became "obsessed" with collecting beach glass. I started a group Beach and Sea Glass Obsessed on Facebook, and eventually started crafting with my beachcombing finds. Today's Vendor Spotlight highlights a new vendor offering quality handmade semi-precious stone and crystal bracelets and other accessories such as necklaces, earrings, keychains, name bracelets, kids bracelets. 🌙⭐️

The owner, Jenn, originally became interested in using holistic products when traditional medicine wasn’t cutting it, both for her physical and mental health. She started wearing gemstone bracelets, bought from different stores and online, and then thought “ hey I can make these for myself…” Once she started making them, she realized how much she enjoyed doing it, started making them for her friends, and the rest is history! These types of bracelets and products are typically expensive, so Jenn tries to keep her prices as affordable as possible. Jenn also makes all types of bracelets and jewellery for adults and kids alike. With over 50 different types of semi-precious stones, like amethyst, agate, jasper, hematite, black tourmaline, etc., glass beads, plastic beads, letter beads, there’s something for everyone! In-person custom orders are welcomed!
