Port Hope Vintage

Found this at a Value Village this morning for $3. This is when it pays off to have knowledge (and a lot of luck). I was looking alongside other people who all had a chance at this before me. Before the days of the "internet collector", the knowledge you had helped to pluck the gems. Chalk one up for the veteran today.

Here's a pretty interesting item that I just got in for the collection. This is a piece of Confederate currency from 1864. Nice piece of history.

Nice little yard sale pick up today. UK Original Parlophone Beatles 45. Not particularly rare, but I always enjoy finding them in the wild.

This beauty visited my studio this week. There were only 10 of these ever made. The Taylor "Running Horses" acoustic guitar.

This is a very rare 45 of a Rhythm and Blues / Soul artist from the early 1960s. I kind of forgot I owned this until I recently rediscovered it. Cool track.

Pretty amazing little score today at a flea market. Nice early "Mountie" guitar.

One of the coolest items I've ever owned just arrived. This is a program from Tiger Stadium in Detroit in 1932. The lineup cards are intact and show that the Tigers hosted the New York Yankees that day. Batting 3rd and cleanup were Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Amazing!
