Dr. Mélanie LeBlanc moved across the country from her home province of New Brunswick 1 year ago to beautiful Powell River; she has loved every minute of it. Even in her short time here she has found a warm and welcoming community in which she feels right at home. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2014 from the University of New Brunswick and then obtained her chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2018. She has had the pleasure of treating patients of all ages, from as young as 1 month old to individuals into their golden age. Dr. Mélanie’s treatments comprise of different modalities, such as spinal and joint manipulation – including Diversified technique and drop-pieces from Thompson technique, custom orthotics, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, Shockwave therapy, level IV deep tissue laser therapy and exercise prescription. She is also certified in the Webster technique to give her pregnant patients the best care possible.
