The Bocce Athletes and coaches had an amazing time at their first bocce Regional Qualifier held in Burns Lake. Everyone played extremely well with great results. Thank you to Burns Lake for hosting the event.
This is a first! The sport of Bocce is a new sport for Prince George. The athletes and coaches have been training for the past nine months and are ready to test their skills at their first Bocce Regional Qualifier being held in Burns Lake, July 12. Wishing everyone good luck and have a great time!

It is the perfect day for golf, and the golf athletes along with their coaches are ready to play!! They are going to Quesnel to take part in the Regional Qualifier for golf. Good luck and have fun!!
Everyone had a great time at the regional 7 & 8 track and field qualifier held in Smithers. The athletes all came home with ribbons, personal bests and lots of smiles! Thank you to Special Olympics Smithers for hosting, and all the volunteers for an amazing day.
The track team has arrived in Smithers and are ready to participate in the region 7 & 8 track qualifier being held tomorrow. The athletes are excited to compete!

It was great to have Quesnel come to Prince George for a fun day of bocce. This was the first time for both Prince George and Quesnel. A huge Thank you to Tina from Burns Lake who came to Prince George to share her expertise and knowledge on bocce.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run was held today! It’s always a great event that the athletes look forward to participate in. Thank you to the RCMP for your support!
THE 2024 Law Enforcement TORCH RUN will be held on Thursday June 6. Meet at the RCMP station on Victoria street at 3:p.m. Everyone is encouraged to participate
SOCCER PRACTICE on Thursday June 6 is canceled so that the athletes and coaches/volunteers can participate in the Torch Run. Next soccer practice will be June 13.

The Quesnel soccer team came to play the Prince George soccer team today in Prince George. It was exciting to watch. Everyone played well.

The Prince George soccer team will be playing the Quesnel soccer team on Saturday May 25. Athletes are asked to meet at the Rotary soccer fields at 1:00 p.m. It’s important that everyone show up on time!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME AND WATCH THE BASKETBALL REGIONAL QUALIFIER ON FRIDAY MAY 24! Prince George will be playing Quesnel in the John McInnis School gym at 5:30 p.m.
There will be golf tomorrow May 20.
The Annual Special Olympics - Prince George LETR Torch Run will be held on Thursday June 6. Meet at the main RCMP detachment on Victoria street at 3:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to participate!!
Track and Field practice will be canceled Wednesday May 15. Next practice will be Friday May 17.

OUTDOOR SOCCER PRACTICES
Will start Thursday May 9 at Rotary Fields. Practices will be held at the Terry Wilson fields located by the concession stand. Practices will run every Thursday 4:30-6:00 p.m. for the remainder of the season!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
The Rhythmic Gymnastics regional qualifier is being held in Prince George on Saturday, May 4. They are seeking volunteers to help out from 12:00 to approximately 3:30 p.m. If you are able to volunteer for this event, it would be greatly appreciated! It’s also a great opportunity to see what the Rhythmic Gymnastics athletes have been working on.
The Rhythmic Gymnastics Yearend Demonstration was a fantastic success ! The athletes did a wonderful job. Thank you to everyone for your support.
