And that’s a wrap! The Family Mission Team at the Okanagan Gleaners 2024 is all cleaned up and most have headed home. 🎉Thanks again to the amazing team from Gateway Church and also the incredible staff and leadership of the Okanagan Gleaners. It was an excellent week of service, community and friendship! We are so thankful to you all… and to our God who makes the impossible, POSSIBLE! ❤️
Day 3 of the Family Mission Team at the OK Gleaners. 🎊 we had done fundraising by doing a bbq at the church in June, plus some bottle drives…. and so we presented the Gleaners Treasurer Val, a donation check for over $3080!!
And Val gave us some of the dehydrated soup to bring home. That’s a pretty fair trade! 👏
Day 2 of the Family Mission Team at the OK Gleaners in Oliver. 🎊🎊 Today we got to be a part of vegetable production as we cleaned and chopped hundreds of vegetables that went into the driers to be dehydrated. We finished one dryer completely and got a good start on a second for tomorrow. It was an amazing day of everybody from the Littles to the Old pitching in to work together.
Did you know the OK Gleaners send dehydrated soup mix with organizations such as World vision, Samaritans purse, and Feed the children? 😊 And in the warehouse, are crates of dehydrated soup ready to be sent to the Gazza strip for aid relief. And this is what we get to be a part of right Here in our province! 🎊💖Glory to God!
Plus as a team we played some games together, built, friendships, and community, and got to spend some time on the lake. That’s one fantastic day. ❤️
Here’s day 1 of the Family Mission Team at the Ok Gleaners in Oliver BC. 🎊we had such an incredible first day! Because it was the holiday Monday, the Gleaners weren’t doing vegetable chopping production and so we volunteered to do service projects! 👏
My goodness this team of 42 worked incredibly hard doing maintenance projects around the plant in 35° weather! I’m so proud of them and so thankful for all their hard work as missionaries of the gospel of Christ today. 🥰🎊

We are so excited for Welcome to the Neighborhood this Sunday July 21 at 10:30am! Join us for an outdoor service, free BBQ, and bouncy castles. Childcare will be available at the CRC building for kids age 0-Kindergarten.
EXCITING UPDATE: We are expecting lots of sunshine, so in addition to 2 regular bouncy castles we will have a water bouncy castle that’s for all ages! Please bring along swim clothes and towel so you can enjoy it! We’ll also have kiddy pools set up with water for the kids to play in.

We would also like to invite you to join us for a prayer walk on Saturday July 20 at 6:00pm. We will be meeting at the CRC parking lot and going out into our neighborhood to pray and invite everyone to join us!
