Let this day and every single day honour the children who never returned home and the Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
Truth and Reconciliation is an every single day, personal commitment. Wearing an orange shirt is just a small way to show we are committed to acknowledging and sharing truth, and to doing the work of reconciliation on all the other days of the year as well.
