Welcome to Part 1 of my conversation with Bono, recorded live at the historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas. I have been a fan since the very beginning, and this event, presented by Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL)’s Bonus Tracks, was sheer magic.
Eighteen-year-old me—the girl with the asymmetric haircut, combat boots, and a Walkman that played U2’s “War” album from daylight to dusk every single day for a year—is wondering, How in the hell did I pull this off?
The answer is, I don’t know. What I do know is that we were mentally in sync, spiritually locked in, and we talked about everything from rock and roll and activism to faith and the power of paradox.
Bono’s new memoir, “Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story,” is the ultimate love story—to his wife, Ali; to his family and friends; to the band; and to all of us who’ve found both peace and provocation in the music.

We can expect the energies of this last Full Moon of 2022 to be quite unusual, to say the least! It’s taking place in the sign of Gemini, the sign of conversation, online comments, thoughts, and anything else to do with communication, so a Full Moon in Gemini may be a time where angry words are spoken, heated comments are exchanged and communication generally gets emotional.
The difference is that this year the Full Moon in Gemini is taking place smack bang on Mars, the planet of anger, which happens to be retrograde. One of the best ways to use this lunation is to see how much better life is when you don’t lose your temper! Mars retrograde is a time when we all can learn to hold fire. Can you keep your cool, even when people are practically provoking you? That’s the test from this Full Moon.
The good news is that the first alignment the Sun makes after the Full Moon is a harmonious one, with the planet Saturn. So, if you can keep your own counsel at Full Moon, life should calm down substantially just a few days later. If all else fails, remember it’s the season of goodwill, and just be nice! This Full Moon is also a perfect time for extra‐deep forgiveness as you look back over the year and consider what to release that didn’t work out, and who you need to forgive, including yourself. - Yasmin Boland, from the 2022 Moonology Diary

💗You should never have to convince anyone of your worth.
💗Choose people who never make you question your value.
💗Trust that you are deeply loved and lovable.
💗 Remember it’s ok to walk away from relationships where you feel like you have to negotiate your way into someone caring about you.

Remember what others say and do does not define you in any way, it is a perception of what they see and feel. So don't take on their personal energy as if it's you, because it is not. Speak up in a strong kind way if it feels like the right thing to do, or most often we simply walk away and wish them well from afar.
People who say really hurtful things are not worth your time and energy in the moment.

Another hat. Yay.. if you're seeing 👀 this post please like it
A hat that covers the ears, neck, and more. Just completed
This hat was helpful in preventing me from getting too much sun at midday while out at a Cafe.
Hats can be a useful addition for sun protection of your head, ears, face and neck, but they will rarely provide sufficient protection on their own to anyone outside during times where sun protection is advised (when the UV level is 3 or higher).
A super cute hat for summer protection.
This style gives great coverage from the 🌞 sun. It's also stylish. Great for the beach, or for a coffee at an outdoor Cafe.
