Soup After Dark (SAD) the inaugural InfiNATE Initiatives Stands Against Disparity (SAD) by Nathaniel Hewton.

Soup After Dark (SAD) is filling a food gap in downtown Regina this winter. The goal is to provide at least one hot meal a day for those who need it from December 3, 2022 - April 30, 2023. We are entirely volunteer led and rely solely on the generosity of individuals and organizations to provide funds, gift in kind and product donations for a hot meal and beverages each day. Further to the fact that I have been campaigning the past three years and my post on April 15, 2024 on the Soup After Dark (SAD) page, I want to reiterate I, Nathaniel Hewton, am officially running for Mayor. I am the Nate in InfiNATE Initiatives and I invite you to like and follow this page.

Ultimately, I am running to insist on an accountable government. It is downright dangerous to permit the least suitable and competent among us to govern our society. By least suitable and competent I mean those who have never experienced a hardship in their life yet are entrusted to make decisions on things they know nothing about. My lived experience makes me uniquely qualified to be your Mayor of the City of Regina.

Extremely proud of Nathaniel for implementing his Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Lights at an organization who appreciates him and them! Regina Work Preparation Centre clients will now benefit from Light Therapy. Light Therapy is an ambient solution to seasonal affective disorder and helps with anxiety, depression, mood regulation and provides vitamin boosters year-round! "Light boxes are one of the best treatments for SAD." Congrats šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ InfiNate Initiatives

We are incredibly grateful to Nathaniel from InfiNate Initiatives and Soup After Dark - SAD for the generous donation of SAD lights to our organization.

Your support not only brightens our spaces but also our spirits. Our conversation was truly inspiring, and weā€™re motivated by your commitment to making a difference.

Thank you for helping us bring more light into the lives of those we serve.

Thatā€™s a wrap on season two of Soup After Dark (SAD). Thank you to everyone who helped serve up a dignified meal for 149 consecutive days, it was only supposed to be 148 days of service during the five coldest months of the year, but 2024 landed as a leap year. Also, we have to count technically 150 days of service as yesterday Nathaniel and President Amanda handed out 14N8 smile cookies and hot chocolate from the SAD location and donated the rest to the CMHA. Filling the food gap in downtown Regina, Founder and self made CEO Nathaniel started this to help lift those around him and demonstrate there is a community that cares. Here is a glimpse of the magic at the soup line. Video credit: Abigail Rivera

Our InfiNATE Army of Volunteers grew immensely this year. Thank you to all the volunteers including those who came out weekly to those who threw down for their town when they could. We heard it many times from those at the line addressing our volunteers ā€œyou are a blessingā€ and we couldnā€™t agree more! The dignity, kindness and compassion you served up daily made a difference. Thank you. Til next time.

Thank you to The Copper Kettle Restaurant for their support of Soup After Dark - SAD for the second year in a row. Anna and team provide their famous lemon chicken soup šŸ‹ twice a month offering a dignified meal to those we serve. Copper Kettle is a staple of downtown and understands the food gaps that exist. Thanks for the part you play in the solution.

Nate here. Iā€™m going to edit and clean up the grammar in this over the next few days but hereā€™s something for everybody to hear. Before I continue though, I need to point out that if organizations politicians or individuals would just do what they said they were going to do, I wouldnā€™t have to lay everybody on the chopping block right now. If you feel your organization has been mentioned without having chance to mount a proper defence that is exactly my own argument and sufferance. Also anybody within the organizations mentioned here after should check their inboxes for correspondence from myself over the last four years. I have reached out to damn near everyone on the list and I am not the only one either. So, why the crickets and lack of concern about myself. Why was it that you ignored me or thought you knew more with no introduction, if youā€™re a CEO or Director of anyone of the groups in this post, this is a direct question. No one at the top was listening, until I started speaking truth about what they are committing to as individuals, organizations, and perpetrators of malicious over educated ageism.ļæ¼Without further ado check this shot out. So here, itā€™s come to my attention that the powers that be donā€™t like me naming names and organizations as well as specific people who are the detractors in the Queen city. Iā€™m glad that you donā€™t like this because, Iā€™m going to show everyone for the scaly snakes they are. If anybody is not paying attention to the score you need to refer to the Regina community safety and well-being plan creating a better community together. You have to get to page 9 before you actually see anything important within it and by important I mean, obtuse grading and arbitrary. Page 9 is from the mayor followed by message from the police Chief Evan Bray the guy who is now your radio host because he couldnā€™t be Chief very well either. Followed by community acknowledgements which are aloof and mediocre on page 11 as well as page 12. We have other acknowledgements which would include the city of Regina the regina fire and protective services Regina police services Gyna human services partnership as well some individuals, Jan Fox of Edmonton, REACH, Julie Thompson coordinator of community engagement Waterloo region crime prevention council Trisha Robinson executive Director Mott Family Resource Center, Wasman coordinator toward violence, free homes, coalition of Muslim women of KW AlexanderDubuc registered dietician Nutri simple Christina Sadler consultant more better solutions really more better solutions followed by page 13 thanks to the following organizations that supported development one Saskatchewan aids program South Saskatchewan, friendly Regina Al Ritchie community Association all nations hope network Monin womenā€™s empowerment Inc. astonished big big sister of Regina and Black in Saskatchewan Canadian mental health Association Regina branch Canadian mental health Association Saskatchewan division Canadian red cross Carmichael outreach Cathedral area, community Association Catholic family services, Regina Circle project city of Regina, accessibility advisory committee common wheel community arts coronation Park community Association creative options Regina Eagle Heart Center, East community Association family services, Regina D Flo community projects growing movers heritage community association, Howard Society of Saskatchewan McNabb, community associationsCrisis services cultural council of Saskatchewan name, housing corporation Newton Friendship Center, North Central community Association, Saskatchewan, Rancho Society, REACH vina Regina anti-poverty ministry Regina downtown business improvement district Regina early learning centre Regina food bank Regina immigrant network centre Regina needle recovery and community support Regina northeast community association, Regina open society, Regina Public Schools Regina and Regina local immigration partnership Regina senior citizens centre Regina sexual assault centre Regina treaty status Indian services Rosemont Mount Royal community Association, Salvation Army, Saskatchewan, brain injury, association, Saskatchewan health authority, Saskatchewan, Ministry of corrections, policing and public safety Saskatchewan Ministry of health, Saskatchewan, Ministry of Justice and Attorney General Saskatchewan Ministry of social services Saskatchewan senior mechanism SCEP Centre Silver sage housing corporation Sophia house United Way Regina you are pride centre for sexuality and gender diversity white raven healing centre YWCA Regina. These are the names of every organization in the city that is corrupt, garbage useless and skimming money from the unobservant people of this city. I would highlight a 180% increase in murders since 2019 the year that dear sweet Sandra pretended to care and presented the community safety well-being plan. Since its introduction there has been a 360% increase in overdose deaths not to mention the insanity going on in the school divisions. There is the statement within the safety plan for the city, creating a better community together. This cannot happen when the 12% at the top that are out of touch and telling everybody else what they think should happen while ignoring the very input that would provide the majority of the solutions. The rest of us donā€™t care what youā€™re saying weā€™re too busy putting in a day. If you think this statement is out of touch, how come the top CEOs in this province in the first eight hours of the year, forget about regular work hours and times.12 oā€™clock in the morning to 8 oā€™clock in the morning on New Yearā€™s Day. They made more money in that eight hour window during a holiday that they take until March then any concrete finisher in an entire year. Semmples, Brant, I can name other families and other industries we wonā€™t get into that here. Now the mid management types will tell you that yes that was the top, top dog. They failed to tell you that they make more than that work a day Joe in the first three days of that same fiscal time period regardless of the eight hour workday. These pretend-to-care-asauruses perpetuate human trafficking to the umpteenth degree by hiring what they perceived to be reputable peoples to do their contract work, when these people are the scabs of the universe. I personally witnessed Reginaā€™s police and crisis team tow away a group of down and outs trailer the very day before Christmas. The police team told The down and outs that the trailer was stolen and they had no idea where it went. I later discovered that these police officers had the trailer crushed and destroyed, but not before they put the bottom enders up, magnanimously for the Christmas holidays in one of the motel rooms now in contention by the MLAS in the city. Isnā€™t that right Conway? I had highlighted the conflict of interest at three of the motels in the city literally four years ago. currently two are facing arbitration. On top of destroying a stably unstable environment PACT further reinforced human trafficking that day. The down and out practising escapism to a degree, that would not have been possible, but for PACTā€™s intervention ended up burning down the suite they were given, several of these individuals went on the run and subsequently were arrested for destruction of the property. two of the gentlemen involved in the destruction of this Magnanimous gesture came back working for a contracting company. I will not mention them by name for those who donā€™t think I can practice discretion or restraint, but these two individuals ended up repairing the room that they destroyed and were paid a minor and unfair wage for this endeavour while still drawing from the social services system, if this is not clearly representative cut and dry of human trafficking perpetrated and initiated by the police in this city, then I surely am not being misrepresented by every group aforementioned in this post. If you would like I can do the math in real time and show you over $4 billion worth of fraud the city council, the catalyst committee, Regina city police, RCMP, and virtually every single NGO and not for profit in the city are committing to. I can name names and can point to exactly how everyone at the top is connected. I am definitely hitting the nail on the head folks. I have literally been physically assaulted in my own apartment building twice now and reported the incident to the police who have not arrested the man for it because he himself is a criminal informant and undercover a provocateur or a crisis actor himself, I am an open book. I will answer any question to me about myself and my history and Iā€™m not afraid to admit my shortcomings my past attitude has cost me dearly however, I cannot allow past failures, to define either my present status nor positive direction. Yes, I curse and swear like a sailor and yes, I have no problem throwing a punch at the derisive bigot. I do not speak like the politicians clamouring to the foreground because I am not a politician scrambling to the foreground. I am a street king and I am finally standing off of my knees, I will never bow again. Come get water from a rock by the way a personal shout out to Jeff Barberā€™s at Regina public library I had a meeting with this gentleman over the theft of my ideals and got the same s**t house grin from this man that I get from every midget goofball practising ageism. Iā€™m not afraid of weak servile persons, nor am I afraid of weak organizations. I am neither of these things. Iā€™ve said it once I will say it again you have your champion. Iā€™m not afraid to tell the emperor heā€™s fu***ng Naked.ļæ¼

Brandon volunteered consistently with Soup After Dark - SAD this season and we want to thank him and wish him well on his run for NDP nomination. Brandon-Shea Mutala for Wascana Plains came out to the soup line to educate himself, see issues first hand and learn from his experience so he can advocate from a place of knowledge. We appreciate his willingness to serve and learn. TOMORROW is the deadline to purchase your membership allowing you to vote at the nomination. If youā€™re in Wascana Plains, we encourage you to use your voice and participate! See original post for more details. www.saskndp.ca/join

I am excited to announce that I am seeking the NDP nomination in Regina Wascana Plains!

I believe the people of this constituency and the province of Saskatchewan deserve better: A stronger government that is focused on the most valuable resource our province has: its people.

I am seeking the nomination because I am a USW Union Member and Shop Steward at EVRAZ, where hundreds of my Union brothers and sisters have been laid off and are struggling to find good paying jobs with benefits in these tough economic timesā€”and they are not alone. Too many hard working citizens are struggling to keep up with the rising cost of living while their pay remains stagnant and their jobs and benefits are cut or threatened. The current government is out of touch with the financial struggles of Saskatchewan workers, and the way this province is growing is NOT working for everyone. Thatā€™s why itā€™s time for a change, and I fully support Carla Beckā€™s commitment to .

As father of three girlsā€”one age 13 and 10 year old twinsā€”I have seen first-hand how the increased class sizes and decreased funding for public education are negatively affecting their ability to grow and learn. My wife, a former sessional lecturer, also lost her job as a result of provincial budget cuts to post-secondary education over a decade ago, and the continuous funding cuts since then have led to increased tuition costs and student loan debt, which is causing Saskatchewan young people and families to fall further behind when they are working hard to get ahead.

In the Wascana Plains area, there are only 3 elementary schools, and the newly opened dual-use school opened at 102% capacity just a couple of years ago.
There are no High Schools in the area.
The SaskParty is failing this constituency when it comes to education, and I want to help make it right.

I am proud to call Saskatchewan my home, and I want to be part of a team that will help to bring a positive change to the lives of my family, friends, coworkers and community. That is why Iā€™m asking for your support by nominating me for the Regina Wascana Plains riding: because Iā€™m committed to work hard for the hard working people of this province.

If you or someone you know lives in the Regina Wascana Plains riding and would like to help out, please consider purchasing an NDP membership so you are eligible to vote for me once the constituency nomination meeting is held.
The cost to become a member is $10, and it would mean a lot to if you were to help me secure the nomination.

Thank you.
Brandon-Shea Mutala, NDP candidate for nomination

So my name is Nathaniel Hewton. The Nate in infinate initiatives. Iā€™m posting here today because I owe myself an apology. Iā€™ve been trusting others to run my pages and never once checked in to see how they were being presented to the general public. Iā€™ve been wondering why my initiatives are not getting proper recognition, and come to realize that one of the weaknesses is reliance on other people to speak for me verbatim. This has not happened yet or my ideas and intentions would be properly set here for those following my page. The very reason that I started the infinite initiatives is because I have been on the bottom end of society for 13 years now, and in that experience have reached out to every group claiming aid, and therefore know every lacking measure that needs to be taken to heal and properly repair the city. Not a single member of Parliament at the provincial, municipal or federal level have reached out to me after literal years of attempted interaction on my part. Conway, Trent Witherspoon, and Carla Beck as official opposition need to do something to officially oppose the parties in the city. Unfortunately their straw men and paper people designed to make a weak attempt and fail on purpose so no one else gets inspired. Thereā€™s not a single political party nor individual actually supporting the views, morals and values of what it means to hold and be what I understand it is to be Canadian. If youā€™re wondering what it takes to be a Canadian looked no further than the soup stand and understand that I have more public community interest/involvement at the grassroots level than anybody else on the planet right now. I know how to lead from the frontline and I now have been quietly gathering support for the last four years and have written a book of 180 public actions that end in global challenge. Jeff Barber at the Regina public library has stolen part of the initial role out last year and now your public library is looking down the barrel of a million dollar law suit he still canā€™t comprehend. Intellectual property theft is definitely a real thing Jeffers. The seasonal effective disorder lights that the library is taking credit for are a small fraction of what I can prove to be stolen. That was just one part of my ambient solution for the library. Nancy MacKenzie, was supposed to help me present the solutions and instead slandered me. I wonā€™t get into, the issues surrounding her, but know that this woman as a Director of customer experience is simply harvesting ideas from the public and putting them forward as her own and in the simplest of terms there are heinous things that sheā€™s doing behind the scenes as well to her own employees who are scared to push back. This woman deserves her own entire post that would be hours long to explain her duplicitous nature. Thereā€™s a third part to keep your eyes peeled for when it comes to my SAD initiative. I have Crosbyā€™s Cedar products working on my template now. Also I have people in Moose Jaw speaking about my next soup stand properly and Iā€™m looking to branch into the private sector this summer to help support SAD and myself financially as well. Keep your eyes peeled for me around the city. If anybody is wondering why Iā€™m doing all these things, and have Thrown down for my town so hard, Iā€™ve been saying it since before I heard John say it at Brian Mulroneyā€˜s funeral you donā€™t have to wait to be elected to help. Mayor Sandra, indeed, Iā€™ve done all of this myself with no purchasing power at all. The only thing I wanted from our meetings three years ago, that you continuously cancelled and gaslit me on, was to help save you from your own auspicious nature, ostentatious delusion, and disconnected privilege that you donā€™t see as a problem. I am on welfare, created soup after dark while on electronic monitoring with less than six hours a week out in the general public, experiencing every negative stigma imaginable. With the social services system having burnt me for nine months. I am currently experiencing cancel culture, character, assassination, racial discrimination, racial bigotry, gaslighting, crisis actors, embedded sabotage, provocateurs and gang stalking by the police RCMP scan Regina mental health facility the police and crisis response team and many other groups. Iā€™m being held on the bottom and against the ropes by every power in the city pretending to care. I will not stop and the fact that I have to tell these people that I am better than them does not discount me from that very fact. Sandra Masters last year fully admitted that if anybody could do her job as the mayor of Regina better than her that she would gladly stepped down and surrender her appointment. Since that time she has targeted negative detriment against anyone willing to speak out against her. I cannot find a single person in this city who has anything good to say about her last four year stint as mayor and for some reason, there is a 52% approval rating for this woman. This delusional disconnection from reality must stop! To further highlight her delusion, she will tell you that she has no idea who I am but has been harvesting my ideas for literally the entire term that sheā€™s been in office. Iā€™ve been trying to work with this woman since her first appeal to the public for suggestion. Also, another crisis, actor and paper person in the city is the woman who destroyed Vancouver. For those who are paying attention, a woman named Judith at the RD bid graciously brags about being a corner stone of the Vancouver signage committee. The group who is almost single-handedly responsible for creating the Hastings Street crisis in that cityā€¦. We are living in a country run by a ski bunny, drama teacher who can only ā€œactā€ like he is in charge. I live in a province run by a Drew Carrey, Buddy Holly, lovechild look alike that doesnā€™t make me laugh unfortunately. I donā€™t think heā€™s funny nor want to listen to him but thatā€™s OK because neither does the municipal or federal government so I guess Iā€™m not the only one. On top of this to cement it all in for you. I work in a city that tells me that what I do isnā€™t relevant or work, even though other people in the same sector have made entire careers off of less than my first initiative. The fact that the leaders of the not for profits and NGOs say that I am taking up their space and stealing work from professionals, sickens me, and galvanizes me to further action. I certainly do hope I make you redundant because if you cared, the food solution wouldā€™ve happened two decades ago. The poverty solution wouldā€™ve happened two decades ago. Thereā€™s nothing hard about the solutions, they just seem hard to weak flaccid people. The Queen City needs a king I may be the welfare CEO and the paper bag prince but I may be the only thing here that gives a s**t about standing infront of the whole damn parade to tell you straight up, the emperor is not wearing fu***ng clothes.Donā€™t believe me, letā€™s check the score board. Nate: 148 days of consecutive service fed a legion On $390 a month for the second year in a row working through minus 53 degree weather, every holiday and special occasion- Sandra Masters: canā€™t purchase a good idea for $151,000 a year, vacation time and the city coffers backing her with an audacity only trust fund babies can muster. It took her the entire time she was in office to get rid of the Tim Reid problem and we just found out that he cost Regina $8 million more that he did not need when he applied for cerb relief on behalf of the R.E.A.L. Districtā€¦.ļæ¼

I move for a motion of NO CONFIDENCE in the entirety of Regina city council for theft and financial fraud in access of 3.5billion dollars.

ļæ¼The sitting city council will not allow me to stand in front of them to ask about fiscal spending. The same way the provincial legislation will not allow me to question them. both will tell you Iā€™m welcome to attend anytime however both will parse and vet what I have to say to make sure that itā€™s appropriate, practising censorship and direct contravention to freedom of speech. For this reason, I will not stand in their arena until Sandra is no longer in my chair. The federal government is willing to sidestep the provincial government to work with municipalities because the provincial governments are so out of touch with what is going on. Ignoring the municipal government below them that is begging for aid while practising their own trespasses against the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms in the form of pronoun policy. Not to mention, allowing the RCMP in the province to practice on roadside administration of breathalyzer. Then thereā€™s the carbon tax fiasco in the federal government helping accelerate our countries collective decent into anarchy, again, because federally we are experiencing the same iatrogenic decline directly related to disconnect from fundamental Canadian constitution. A delusional provincial government practising federal politics and doing nothing more than showcasing a country divided, the very thing that all politicians are supposed to be fighting against! Or (this is a direct question for any government N.P.C. to answer) are you not supposed to be working together to create policy to help the people of Canada, your ridings and your municipalities? As far as Iā€™m concerned, thereā€™s only one race of people on this planet, or are we not all human?! To those of the human race and that would echo my sentiment in this, Iā€™m sorry itā€™s taken me this long to voice the opinion of the population and Iā€™m sorry it took me this long to stand up for everybody. Sandra has a 52% approval rating right now in the city and that is what CTV reports. I find this strange. I canā€™t find a single person in the city that supports her at any level anywhere. If you think that statement means nothing, youā€™re not paying attention to how many people are supporting soup after dark or attend the stand daily.

ļæ¼ļæ¼Because of the lack of awareness and measurable accountability. I introduce to you the welfare CEO, heavenā€˜s pet Demon, the peoples mouthpiece and whipping boy, your paperbag prince and Loraxā€¦ā€¦Me, Nathaniel Hewton. I see your fictitious 52% approval rating Sandra and I raise you by Nateightysix!!

No one has been paying much attention to the noise. So letā€™s see if we can make some waves. I am officially announcing my run for mayor in the fall because of how aggressive the opposition was to me running when I expressed interest as an independent candidate at the provincial level.
ļæ¼
People you have a champion, Now letā€™s go do some good!
