After picking through her hair we noticed some bands from previous colouring, so with a few strategic foils and a shadow root with Shades Eq gloss we were able to get her to her goal! 💃❤️

How do you decide on a photo when it’s this GOOD?!

She walked in and said “you might hate me for what I’m about to ask you to do” and I was so pumped that she said copper instead of chopping her long locks off 😅 Sarah was headed to Calgary Stampede and it only made sense to do Cowboy Copper 🤠

I have been absolutely loving my Regina weeks at .yqr. I love that I’m able to keep in touch with my Regina friends, see all my cutie-pie clients, and hang out with the SASO team every month — and so I plan to continue on with my double life! ✨

Summer is coming in hot with tons of wedding, busy weeks, and just life in general. Unfortunately the craziness of summer scheduling means that I am going to be missing my usual Regina week in July — but I will be back in August — so make sure you prebook those summer appointments asap!! ☀️

BEFORE&AFTER 💁🏼‍♀️

This one was fun! No bleach was put into her hair, yet it somehow looks lighter and brighter! All done with Shades EQ. A shadow root, a mid toner to cut out those bands, and a quick tone on the ends and this hair was transformed 😍

I know I said I would post Marian’s hair photo a couple weeks back but between her and I both dying of sickness 🤧 the appointment was pushed back 😅

But TODAY was the day! She came in this morning and we brought up her highlights. Marian went 7 months in between services and we kinda want to stick to that schedule so a low maintenance lived-in colour was in store for her! ✨

You know when you’ve been a blondie for so long it scares you to attempt anything darker? This is the perfect way to slowly transition into a “darker blonde”!

This, to me, feels like the perfect fall blonde (I know, we already have snow but I’m in denial) and it’s the safest bet BECAUSE it’s only semi-permanent so it WILL eventually fade out, doesn’t sound so scary does it 😉

Spooky season is upon us, so nothing like doing a colour correction on Friday the 13th! 👻

Anyone in the hairstylist world who knows me, knows that copper/red is not in my comfort zone. But I was up for the challenge and loved the results. A little help from my coworker Jacey and the reminder to wear gloves was much appreciated 😁😅

She had 7 months worth of regrowth after getting permanent black, red, and blonde highlights/lowlights!

We highlighted the crapola outta her hair to break up all the funky colours. We are IN LOVE 😍

My fav spot to be is behind the chair! I became a hairstylist with the idea that I’d love to curl hair, highlight hair, or bobby pin it in a way that looks magical… and while all of that is truly something I LOVE doing, what I didn’t realize I’d love the most is the connection I get with anyone who sits in my chair.

Whether it’s a client I’ve had for years or a first time client in my chair, by the end of the appointment we’ve become best friends 😄

Some of my coworkers tell me I’d zoom through appointments a lot faster if I just stopped talking, but that’s no fun 😅

Lemme tell ya, summer is going by too dang fast! I did ‘s colour refresh before her wedding… which was already 2 weeks ago!
