This month we celebrate love! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🩵🩷🖤🤎
We admire the diversity of love, identities and people embracing whoever they were meant to be. We practice kindness and acceptance, and recognize that as humankind, we are stronger together. 🏳️🌈
Our equine partners teach us incredible lessons, and one of the most important ones is trust within relationships. Rural Connections strives to provide a space free of judgement where you can feel safe to be you - whatever that means to you! Everyone has a story, and we are honoured that people choose to share theirs with us.
Check this out! 👀
The owner of the ranch we work with, Morag Currin with Being Among Horses Ranch, had a great opportunity to chat on the Evan Bray Show and share more of what our programs and services look like! It’s great to see our community embracing the conversation around mental health and importance of mental wellness! 💪🏼
This beautiful weather is a great time to try something new and to embrace the outdoors while focusing on your wellness. 🍃 Contact us with any questions and to see how we can help you along your journey.

Although our programs don’t include riding, sometimes when we’re out with the herd we can’t help ourselves 🙊
We often think to ourselves that even though we do what we do to help others, we’re so fortunate to also take time for ourselves out here and intentionally reflect on our own mental health 💭
We have some of the best coworkers around! 🐴

Last night we had so much fun hosting our previously postponed date night! The couples joined us for an EAL session, some grooming and time to bond with their partners, and ended the evening with a bonfire! 🔥
It was a great way to spend some time outside! Even in winter, nature has so much to offer and can bring so much peace ❄️

Come join us for an afternoon of self care and intentionally set aside some time to focus on you! 🙌🏻
This is a great way to try something new and feel the benefits of being outside and spending time with our equine partners. Email us to reserve your spot! ☺️

We can’t pour from an empty cup, so make sure to take some time to fill yours 💫

Land of the living skies 🌾
How peaceful is this? 😍 Taken the other night from the ranch we’re lucky to work on. We could all learn to take some time for ourselves and enjoy these incredible moments! 🌤️
Therapy doesn’t have to be limited to an office space - sometimes Mother Nature helps us find the peace and quiet we all need to help reset.
Check out our website and see what we have to offer!

MEET THE HERD 🐴
Meet our girl Emmy! Emmy is one of the Gypsy horses. She is a gentle giant, and looks forward to joining the crowd. Emmy is often a fan favourite due to her “moustache” that you can see in the photos! 🤩 She likes to live life in the slow lane, so she needs a partner that can show some assertiveness to get her involved, which is a great skill to learn!
