The hours can be long, the drives at the end of the night a bit tough, and the heat/wind/bugs a challenge…but the chaos of a wedding day is still my happy place. photo credit

Heading north on Highway 47 from Melville to Preeceville is my favourite stretch of road in the province. Last night I got to spend a fun evening with Brianne and Kyle and capture some beautiful shots. This will be a wedding to remember:)

Time slows down. I’ve probably mentioned small town weddings are my favourite. Nothing against city weddings but when I get directions that are a land location code and not an address it gets my sense of adventure excited. The long drives quiet my mind. Last night I had the pleasure to capture Brittany and Layton in the most stunning backdrop and on family land. I just know this will be a celebration to remember next year.

P+K are adorable together. I love when couples just fit. I’m really looking forward to their upcoming wedding in September!

I wanted to take a moment to share something personal and heartwarming with all of you. Being a wedding videographer has always held a special place in my heart, but since becoming a parent, it has taken on a whole new level of significance.
When I look through my viewfinder and capture those precious moments of love, joy, and connection on a couple's big day, it's impossible not to be moved. Becoming a parent myself has allowed me to see weddings through a different lens – one that's filled with even more appreciation for the incredible journey of life and love.
Every time I witness a bride and groom exchange their vows, or see the tears of happiness in their parents' eyes, it reminds me of the impact that love has on our lives. It's a reminder of the love my kiddos bring into my life every single day.

At Whitetail Films we have a brick-and-mortar location, while not necessary it does bring along a few advantages. First, while video chats are great ( especially for out-of-town clients) having a calm peaceful place to have meetings in person allows us to get to know each other. If your wedding is happening in Regina and we run into weather problems, it is Saskatchewan afterall, we always have a backup plan to do portraits in. Finally, if you are the type that would like to watch your wedding film for the first time with friends and family, we can use the studio to host a premier. We have seats for up to 25 guests!
