Sometimes it takes a fresh curly cut to revive some tired curls

I think it’s time I did a little introduction for new guests and update for everyone else. As most of you know, my name is Amanda Macdougall Demyen. I have been a hairdresser for over 18 years. I began my journey after I lost my mother to cancer. It was her strength that helped me to follow my dreams of being able to help people through hairstyling.

Over the years, I have worked with some great mentors and learned to love every aspect of doing here. Only a few short years after completing hair school I opened my very own salon, saving grace, hair studio. I found the passion for educating and educated with Lanza Healing Haircare for over 12 years. I also had the biggest curl envy, so I attended the Devachan Academy for curly hair training 15 years ago. Extensions and barbering are also some of my favorite services as well, the studio sponsored a rugby team for over 5 years .

I am a mother to my son-Andrew and stepdaughter Aubree. Being a mom was one of my biggest goals and accomplishments. I love spending time camping in the dimmer with them and my husband. We moved out to Lumsden in 2022. I look forward to working in both .salon.co and my studio in Regina to keep you all feeling great and looking fabulous💕

This beautiful soul had her first visit with me - “fix my mullet”. We went through a consultation of how I do a curly cut. She felt like there was no way to blend in some of the previous layers. When we were done- she was in disbelief! “I can’t believe this is my hair”. So happy to help you live your hot again
