Our club was able to make a $5,000 donation in support of the Transforming Tomorrow – Diagnostic Imaging Campaign through the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital

This donation will help bring quality diagnostic care, closer to home, and will be matched dollar for dollar by the FDC Foundation!

A sincere THANK YOU to St. Thomas Lions Club A1 for their generous donations of $500 to be used for programs and support services, helping individuals affected by cancer in the community!

Tonight I was honored to install the Officers for the Petrolia Lions club this evening . What a great night. The highlight however was when President Lion Bill Fell , asked if I want the see the Horses from the RCMP Musical Ride, that was held in Petrolia this past weekend, and of course I said Yes. The club sponsored 2 horses Echo and Gendarme AKA: johnnie. It is he that I am up close and personal with What a beautiful Horse.
These horses are beautiful they are jet Black , and just stunning to to look at. We met two young ladies that are on watch for them through the evening to make sure they are cared for. One young lady explained that the RCMP officers that the riders are all Officers these are not civilian riders and have been on the Police Force for a number of years before they can apply for this honor for the Musical Ride.
Thank you Petrolia Lions Club for inviting me to install your Officers for 2024-2025 congratulation to all the members who took positions and Thank you Lion Bill for giving me a treat of seeing the horses.......

Today Lion Wendy donated a cheque to St. Joseph’s Catholic High School Robotics team to help get them to Dallas Texas for the Worlds Championship! For the first time ever there will be 2 teams representing the school! Good luck to everyone!
