Some pretty big news shared by our friends over at 4LifeLondon

We have some fantastic news to share!

Yesterday, London's City Council voted to kill a proposed by-law which aimed to ban all images of pre-born children from public display in London!

For over 7 months, city councillors have been trying to draft a by-law which could ban images of pre-born children from the streets, while claiming simultaneously that they're trying to balance this goal with our Charter right to freedom of expression.

And after 7 months, thanks in large part to the input of pro-life groups, pro-life activists, and constitutional lawyers, most of London's city councillors realized the obvious: banning images of pre-born babies inherently restrains our right to peacefully assemble and express the pro-life message to Londoners.

So after many discussions and revisions to this proposed by-law, 10 out of the 15 city councillors voted to reject it!

Thank you to everyone who contacted their city councillor over email or phone to let them know your opposition to pro-life censorship. Thanks to you, we will not have to worry about being fined for having pro-life signs! I also thank Councillors Jerry Pribil, Susan Stevenson, and Paul Van Meerbergen for speaking up strongly and consistently against this proposed legislation right from the start.

For the past seven months, 4LifeLondon has been doing all we can to ensure that London does not become an example that other cities can use to shut down the pro-life message from being spread. More than ever, our culture needs the message of life spread so that those who may be impacted by abortion or unplanned pregnancies can ultimately find the strength to choose LIFE!

How truly evil that when people are in need of care and services, Canada is instead offering death.
