Introducing the first dragon in a trilogy that I just completed!!! Structurally, this piece (and the other two) really challenged me. I learned a lot along the way and I’m pleased with how it turned out! 🧡💛

As promised, here are the 4 Bob Ross commissions! 🎨 I decided to make them factory style and tried to have even more fun with them while I crocheted- “arm night” “shoe night” etc. As always, the hair was by far the most time consuming and had my sanity teetering at the end. Worth it? Absolutely. However, Stephanie needs a Bob Ross break. So let’s not mention Bob Ross for awhile, okay? 😂💆‍♀️

And yes, that’s real acrylic paint on their palettes! 😉🎨

When this anti-hero era Taylor Swift was commissioned I was excited for the challenge! New patterns are so interesting to me. Some take no time at all and some take SO much longer than anticipated! This was one of them- but SO worth it!! This piece was also my first foray into this level of eye detailing. Make sure to scroll through to see all of the different angles! I want to take some time to tell you about Amanda Andre Photoarts. Our son’s arrival 3 months too early into the world was anything but normal. When William came home, our newborn session with Amanda (at home, which she completely transformed into a studio space) was one of the first times that things felt normal to me. From that day on, she became special to us. ❤️ Since then we’ve had cake smash photos, fall photos and I can’t overstate this- she’s phenomenal with children!! She even balanced pinecones on her head to make William laugh and keep him entertained in our last session. 😂📸

When she asked me to make a tiny bear for newborns to hold in their portrait sessions I was so honored. Scroll through to see her beautiful work- the little teddy bear fits perfectly in those newborn hands 😍🫠 The last 3 photos are of our experiences with William’s newborn photos 3 years ago ☺️ The way she strategically maneuvered him was like watching her sculpt butter 🫠 I love singing her praises. ❤️ If you haven’t checked her out yet, you should 😉 And yes, of course I crocheted William’s bonnet. 🧶

The soon to be parents are Edmonton Oilers fans and this will be a fun introduction to their favorite team!!
