Looking at some photos from a couple years ago from a mule deer hunt. Hoping to do more photos for people hunting, fishing, hiking, sports, businesses, etc.

Not the outcome was hoping for at the provincial finals but these kids played hard. They had a great season and should be proud of what they accomplished. A lot of talent on this team. Thank you Guardians!

The Champs! Congrats these kids worked hard all year and brought back the trophy after a 20 year wait.

2nd Annual! Last year there were a couple of 40”+ Lakers caught on the trip, but more importantly we had a great time with some amazing people and good food! Dear Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment,

I would like to force a topic that has been neglected for too long already in our great province of Saskatchewan. This topic is our limits and size restrictions for both Walleye and Pike. It is no secret that Saskatchewan has had a reputation for trophy fisheries for quite some time. I can remember sitting in the campground at Nipawin with my parents 30 years ago and hearing all of the stories about the big fish being caught. People would come from all over Canada and the Upper Midwest to fish our trophy fisheries. Yes, I am only 40 years of age and still have lots to learn, but I have seen many fisheries struggle as well as bounce back in my short time on earth. I am also aware enough to see when a fishery is struggling. Why do we have to wait until it is gone completely before we want to fix the problem? What about a preemptive strike that will help some fisheries bounce back before it is to late? Why are we not protecting our fisheries that are a major factor in our tourism sector? It’s time to stop asking WHY? Let’s FIX THE PROBLEM NOW!!

Someone who I value highly told me once, “Don’t come to me with a problem, come to me with a solution.”

Here is my solution, we change our Walleye limit to 2 fish a person with a size restriction of under 45cm. Pike limit to under 68cm with a 2 fish limit. Once a Walleye hits 45cm they are likely between 4-6 years of age and are starting to be in there prime for reproduction. Believe me when I say these Walleye/Pike are worth more alive than they are dead.
I am going to leave this thread and comment section open on this post even though I know it’s going to get ugly on both sides, but without discussion there will never be change. I want to hear everyone’s thoughts and concerns on this topic, because it’s time for us to be heard.

That’s a wrap for archery elk camp 2022! Seen lots but couldn’t get close enough for a shot. Logged a lot of miles through the bush, had a very close (too close) encounter with a bear, but can’t wait to do it all again next year. Happy to be back home with the family.
