You can’t make animals without eyes and while glass eyes would be an interesting creative venture for another day, we dove into the taxidermy supply world to find some beautiful ones. Make sure to stop by Nuit Blanche on September 24 to find the coyote eyes (not pictured here) because they are the most gorgeous of the lot!

The faux fur we were able to find for this project is incredible! Its gorgeous, soft, luxurious… and we’re making animals out of it! Thanks again to the SK Arts Board for the micro grant which enabled us to find the perfect fabrics!

Neither Katie nor I are excellent at social media postings, but we’re doing a thing! We have been selected to participate in Nuit Blanche Saskatoon on September 24 and are so grateful to have received a grant from the SK Arts Board to fund the project!

June 1st. My time as an artist in residence at the Bunkhouse has officially come to an end. it's a bit bittersweet. And while I'm going to miss having a space dedicated to creating, I've already got another project in the works! Stay tuned for more!

It's hard to believe that this residency experience is almost over. I feel so honoured to have been able to create at the Bunkhouse for the last five months.
