- decorate your venue(s) according to your vision (with as much or little input from you as you'd like!);
- coordinate arrival of your wedding party to the ceremony + reception;
- ensure your ceremony + reception run smoothly;
- and so much more (tailored to your needs)!

A day-of coordinator takes care of everything so that you, your family, and your friends can be fully present and enjoy the day.

I was honoured to officiate at Ben and Kelsey's wedding In September.

Their first date was the day they first met in-person, this is how the date went:

Their first date is to Drift Cafe in Saskatoon. Ben is first to arrive at the cafe, sitting there patiently. He can't remember who asked who on the date, but he's there, waiting.

Meanwhile Kelsey and her roommates are prepping for the date, not with a list of conversation topics, but with cell phone tracking and a pocket knife, just in case.

Kelsey is late, not just a tiny bit late, but a whole 30 minutes. When she finally breezes through the door. Ben doesn't mind. The moment he lays eyes on Kelsey,
everything else seems to fade into the background. His heart skips a beat, maybe two.

Kelsey spots Ben instantly, her jittery nerves kicking up a notch. But as soon as she meets his gaze, her worries start to dissolve. She takes in the sight of his beautiful blue eyes and feels a sense of calm wash over her.

They start talking, and it's like they've known each other forever. The conversation flows easily, bouncing from one topic to another. It's not just small talk either. They dive into their interests, their values, and parts of their lives.
Ben listens to Kelsey attentively, hanging on to every word. Kelsey is equally captivated by Ben, his smooth, dreamy voice drawing her in.

In the midst of their deep conversation, live music begins to play in the venue.
Ben feels a strange sense of contentment. As he sits there, listening to the music with Kelsey, he realizes he could do this forever.

Kelsey remembers how her roommates were concerned about her. But as the date progresses, Kelsey realizes she’s safe. The connection she feels with Ben is stronger than any fear or doubt she had.

And as Kelsey feels the knife in her pocket, she chuckles to herself. Ben looks at her, puzzled. She waves it off, promising to tell him about it later.

We provided day-of coordination for this beautiful fall wedding—our last one of the year!

The ceremony was held at St. Patrick’s parish, followed by the reception at The Saskatoon Inn. We loved the vibrant fall colours the couple chose to incorporate in their decor! Guests were treated to a wonderful dinner, yummy candy bar, and delicious cupcakes throughout the evening, as well as the cutest favours. We had so much fun and can’t wait until next year’s season begins!

Providing day-of coordination for this wedding was such a wonderful experience. Kelsey, Ben, their family and friends, and the vendors were all so wonderful to work with.

We were at the beautiful for the whole day and the weather was even better than we could have hoped for! Following the most lovely ceremony, guests were able to enjoy cocktails, lawn games, and the candy bar before the reception began. The decorations added to the beauty of the venue and it all came together perfectly. And on top of all that, the food was incredible. We can’t wait until the next wedding at The Barn!

This wedding was another special one for me as I had multiple personal connections to different people involved. First, the bride and her family are from a small city right next to where I grew up and where my grandparents live. Second, I briefly worked with the bride’s mom when I was a pharmacy student. And third, the photographer, Mitch, watched me grow up and photographed all of my family’s milestones. Working alongside Mitch was incredibly special.

This couple’s wedding took place at the beautiful at And we provided day-of coordination. When the rain started coming down heavily soon before the ceremony was supposed to start, the venue kicked it into high gear and set up their ceremony room in about 10 minutes. We quickly moved the arch from the reception area to the ceremony area and we were ready to go! Both rooms were gorgeous with simplistic decor that elevated the beauty of the rooms themselves. The food was phenomenal and when the weather decided to cooperate, guests were able to enjoy the patio and the couple was able to get some sunset photos with their wedding party. It was a great night and definitely one to remember!

We provided day-of coordination for this wedding which was so unique and fun! Everything was held on The Hilltops field and the weather was gorgeous. The bride and groom walked down the aisle with pyrotechnics going off the while way as they walked. Guests were able to enjoy lawn games and food trucks throughout the night and were treated to an amazing fireworks show at the end! The live band kept the energy up and the people dancing!

We provided day-of coordination for this absolutely beautiful wedding at Champetre County. The wedding party and guests were able to stay right at the venue in the beautiful cabins and were surrounded by peace and quiet, as well as a few sweet animals. The ceremony was held outside by a big tree, followed by lawn games, beer, and donuts. The reception was held inside the saloon and included a fantastic dinner catered by the venue.

We had such a blast doing this wedding!

Emily sells 10lb bags of Crystal Clear Medium Sized Ice Cubes for $5/each.

She also offers Rentals of the following equipment to keep your ice cold throughout your entire event:

- 5 Giant Igloo Coolers that hold up to 15 - 10lb ice bags. They will keep the ice for up to 5 days $20/each/day

- 6 Deep freezers that hold anywhere from 20 - 35 bags. They range in price from $30-$50/day.

- 1 small trailer setup that comes with 2 freezers with a capacity for up 60 bags total, and an optional generator for remote locations (plz inquire for a quote)

The Ice machines are professionally cleaned and serviced twice per year, as per manufacturers specified cleaning interval.

It’s wedding weekend! We are back at the beautiful Top of the Inn at . Watch our stories over the weekend to see the final touches!

Last year we were a day late. This year we are a week late. I'm starting to see a trend BUT better late than never!
On September 1, we celebrated our 2nd anniversary! This past year, lace + lotus has grown exponentially and we could not be happier. Currently, we have completed/booked 9 weddings in 2022 compared to 2 last year. And we already have bookings coming in for 2023! Our preferred vendors list continues to grow as we make more connections with local businesses.
We also continue to put together custom party boxes filled with local items! (See the last picture for an example of a party box put together for a very special person.)
We are so grateful for each and every booking and purchase, and for all of the support from friends, family, and clients.

Over the last month we were fortunate to provide day-of coordination for two wonderful couples.
