The Sandbox in the City

The Sandbox in the City also wants to thanks our own incredibly generous friends and customers who donated their clothes and accessories to our Liz’s Legacy Garage sale. We raised $1666. All of the remaining items were then loaded up after the sale and donated to Sherbrooke’s Tumbleweed Gift and Thrift store. Gillian was telling us how one of their residents was so excited to see all of the new treasures arriving, wondering “when” they were going be ready to view. Those are the kinds of comments and stories that make us the happiest. What may seem like a small gesture can have a huge impact and meaning to a residents life. It truly brings tears to our eyes. We are just very grateful for the love and support. Thank you Gillian for taking the time to drop off the letter in person. Meant a lot to all of us.

We are grateful to have a friend in our community like The Sandbox in the City!

For years, this local clothing boutique has been donating beautiful clothes and accessories to our Tumbleweed Gift and Thrift store which has brought a lot of joy to shoppers. The Sandbox team recently dropped off a beautiful donation that we will be putting on sale throughout the next few months!

Today, Tumbleweed's Manager, Gillian Higgins, delivered a letter of gratitude on behalf of Sherbrooke to Megan Schindel and the entire Sandbox in the City team. Thank you for your continued generosity and friendship, Sandbox in the City!
