This past Saturday i had a wedding delivery to the Circle H Ranch which is a BEAUTIFUL venue but a bit bumpy to get to. Laney Cheecham asked me to make her cake for and I was happy to make it! During transport however it became damaged and something I couldn’t fix on the spot. Laney was kind and gracious and said not to worry about. Congratulations on your beautiful wedding and thank you for being gracious!❤️

UPDATE: I received payment last night. Her sister was kind enough to make payment. She was kind and extremely apologetic and I appreciate her stepping up and doing the right thing. And while I am so grateful for everyone’s concern, id ask that no one harass or bother her mom or her family for her mistakes. Thanks so much for everyone’s help and kind kind words!

I don’t normally do this. But this has happened one too many times and I’m really tired of it. I love cakes. I’m lucky as hell to be able to make them. I enjoy making them. But it’s also how I pay my bills, how I put gas in my car, get groceries, etc. It’s how I survive. I also understand that the cakes I make are expensive. They’re expensive because the materials I use cost a lot of money. And because I think my abilities improve with every cake. I deserve it. I don’t make clients put down a deposit because I know they sometimes need time to get the funds. It’s a courtesy. And its a trust I can longer afford to implement. And that really sucks.

To all my fellow cake makers. DO NOT ACCEPT ORDERS FROM COURTNEY HHORSE. She took the cake and cupcakes I made for her with no intentions of paying me. Save yourself the grief.

If anyone knows Courtney Hhorse could you let her know I haven’t received payment for her order that was picked up today? My msgs aren’t delivering to her messenger. Thanks!
