Fun with stone and hand tools. Progress on a snowy day. Anyone see anything in the fourth pic? Stone always offers a surprise or two.

Wrestling with this one this week. Looking forward to getting new specs, too.

As dancers know; all that dancing is wear and tear on their regalia. Repairing stone jingles is just part of the process sometimes. Grovelling apologies for the lighting.

Smudge bowls and pie kinda day. Because rhubarb needs to be eaten and stuff.

When the pieces of a project three years in the making are oil sanded to 1500 grit, deep and rich in colour and luminosity, and waiting to be put together finally and for the last time there is an indescribable feeling that swells from deep inside the artist.
It is no wonder that artists struggle with addictions. They are only trying to recreate the feeling of finishing their last work. It is a high like no other.
Looking at the process through sober eyes I am filled with gratitude seeing the true depth and sacredness of this process and work.
Wait until you see the piece!
But for now, it’s time to put some seeds in the ground and get this garden finished!
