I've been busy working on several commissions. A huge Snow White, a magical Fairy Godmother and a really cool Alice In Wonderland with Queen of Hearts. All of them are painted scenes with sculpted 'frames'. They have been challenging pieces but so much fun to use !

I honestly can't wait to show everyone! Soon, very, very soon!

This book was a hoot to create over the last year. A few of the characters from my first four books make appearances in this one which was fun to design. Because of my time line that I had to create the book, it has 47 pages this time so a bit smaller than the others but still packed with fun pages to colour.

I painted portraits of people, mostly children, for over 15 years. It was a great way to make a living. It was fun until it wasn’t, so after I finished the last one I swore I’d never do one again.

I’m kinda doing portraits again. 😀 it’s fun!

I recieved some messages asking why I haven't posted hardly any new work. 'Have you not been creating?'

Well it has been non-stop creating in my studio since March. I've been catching up on some really cool commissions, wrapped up my fifth colouring book for Macmillan, preparing so many new exciting pieces for D23, an amazing gallery event in October, new pieces to the galleries and of course the Festival Of The Arts in Feb.

Unfortunately, I lost over a month and half being sick with pneumonia which sucked and of course stressed me out but thankfully I'm my old self again and putting in long hours in the studio.

I can't wait to share everything especially the sculpted commissions that I'm just finishing up. Thank you to the collectors for their patience. 😘My new pieces for the different events are so much fun. Some sculpted and some sparkly!

Some reveals coming up. Can't wait to show them all.

It’s summer and hot and there is nothing like floating in the water.

This little cutie pie was done with painting between layers of resin pours, which gives it a true feeling of the kid’s body being submersed in the water.

Happy experiment 626 Day. Stitch is one of those characters that I adore. He lives in Hawaii, he's blue (my favorite color), he is a walking record player, he loves Elvis music, he's an alien and he's kinda like a dog. What more can you ask for???

I am so thrilled with my first Tinker Bell limited edition print. This piece has my heart.

You can ask my husband, when I finished the original, it was one of the rare pieces that I debated on actually keeping in my personal collection. When she was destroyed in the Lahaina fire, it made me sad that it would not be enjoyed in a collectors home and I asked if I could repaint it.

I mentioned before in a different post that when I was recreating it, I poured alot of love into it.

I am so thankful that decided to reproduce it!!!

I totally forgot to post this painting. It's such a simple concept but I think that's what is so magical about it. I also love how the colors turned out so soft and moody.

The sky is full of all different sizes of aurora borealis Swarovski crystals.

art gallery latest show is all about portraits. She asked all her artists to do self portraits for it.

Instead of doing a portrait of myself at my present age, I thought it would be more fun to do one of me as a kid. So I entitled it 'The Kid In Me' because even when I was a kid I knew I'd be an artist. So now you have one less to guess😁

Yup... It's official. Coming to your local book store January 25, 2025.

This will be the fifth coloring book that I have created for Macmillan Publishing. I think this one is my favorite!

I decide to design my Nightmare Before Christmas to be a sculpted piece since the whole movie is stop motion.

She started off with just a soft glow then she decided to dance across the sky in full color!

I try not to take the northern lights for granted when I look out the window and see them but last night's show really reminded me how fortunate we are to witness this beauty of nature. My hubby turned off our yard light and we just sat for an hour in the dark and watched them glide and dance across the sky. It took our breaths away.

So many new Disney prints being released soon!

I put the majority of the Swarovski crystals all around the sword so the magic was starting there.

Well that went by fast! Thank you for inviting me to be a guest artist at this year’s event. It was a pleasure to meet so many new people and to say hi to returning fans.

The costumes were so fun to see and it was such a pleasure to meet and hopefully inspire young artists.

How fun is this series? Each one has a little bit of sculpting just to add that little extra depth. I also added the person, the location and the date (the movie was made) to each one because isn’t that we are supposed to do to a Polaroid?

I have so many idea for this series!!!

I was asked how I came up with the concept for my 'gallery' series paintings.

For those that don't know my art history, my background was formal portrait painting for over 15 years. The majority of my portraits were for ordinary families and mostly of their children. I think the most exciting and also nerve wracking part of the painting was when I presented or unveiled the art to them and watching their reaction.

So when I designed the concept, it was with the perspective of if the characters were seeing their painting for the first time.

I cannot tell you how much I love this painting and to be perfectly honest it is one that I came very close to just keeping for myself.
