Got outside and went for a hike! So happy my Mom felt adventurous enough to join us for a bit! Now itβs time to lift!!!

This has been a game changer for me. Especially with school. I have a MIT list that I write daily. My⦠MOST IMPORTANT TASKS that must get done for the day.
Everyone has 24 hours a day, 168 hours in a week and 86,400 seconds in a day. Success is mostly about time management and reflecting on what you must start, stop and continue daily to be better today than you were yesterday and better tomorrow than you were today.
We are slowly starting to be able to come together to lift again. And when we canβt we video chat to support one another!
Officially done the school year and had the opportunity to work with one of the greats in sports psychology!! Make the time to listen to his daily success hotline. 2-3 min each. So grateful for the people I have met through him and the growth I have experienced. Excited for the new path and knowledge I bring to my team. Never stop learning and growing! This is just the beginning!!

Wow, what a beautiful day for lifting!!! Maybe a little warm!! A great day spent with kettle fam and family, new friends and old friends. I love this community and while things are changing and new adventures are imminent we will continue to be a team, train, crush goals, lift and have each otherβs backs, itβs just gonna look a little different!! πππ So proud of everyone today. It was a little challenging with the heat but we got it done!!

I want to congratulate my student for completing his first set of longcycle on the 20βs with 75 reps. This cycle Matt put in the hard work, stayed consistent even when this virus took us to@doing our sets at home. This set was supposed to be done at the Red Isle Bell Classic this weekend... we missed not being able to be there to cheer him! Great work Matt!!! On to the next challenge, next rep and next competition!

We have been quiet here on instagram but most of the team has been busy crushing sets at home!! Stay busy, stay consistent, stay connected!! Itβs hard training at home and by yourself but during these difficult times is not the time to stop training. Its what keeps me sane. Damn I miss being able to see all these beauties face to face! Well, the great thing about kettlebells is you can send them home with the team and we can all video chat and still train and support one another!! and got their sets in before the gym closed down today. Yesterday was a day of uncharted territory for 4 of our team members! Congratulations to for successful completion of her first full marathon in 12 kg OALC with 655 reps. And to for her first half marathon in 8 kg jerk for 371 reps. We also have and Johanne Huard who are creeping ever so close to that one hour goal as well!!! Great work ladies!!! And great job to the rest of the team hitting their sets hard!! Great finish to the week!! ππͺπ

Monday the platforms were full! Love watching everyone interact and cheer each other on. Thatβs the best part about this sport... as much as we are a team everybodyβs goals are their own.
Team had a great week crushing sets!! smashed out 412 oalc in 30 min with the 12 kg. I am working hard under 20βs, 18βs and 16βs. crushed 339 reps in 30 min oalc with the 12 kg . Johanne pounded out out 480 reps with 8 kg half sn**ch for 30 min and my girl did her first ever 10 min test set with the 8 kg sn**ch for 160 reps!! Some are moving up in time, some are moving up in weight. Everyone has different goals, different lifestyles but we all make it work. Was great to lift with someone by my side today. Those days I treasure.
Congratulations for a huge pr in her 30 min oalc lift today. 47 reps!! Last year at this time she completed 328 and today she did 375 reps.

Yay to Johanne for being brave enough to test new limits. When she started with us 6 kg was the start for her. She warmed up at the beginning of this week and wanted to see how heavy she could comfortably lift. Well, I think she surprised even herself when she was able to swing the 16 kg with relative ease over head. So happy to see the smiles on the teams faces when they see how far they have come.

There are no words to say what I am feeling right now... the success of the 2nd annual Platform Summer Open this past weekend was beyond anything I could have imagined. The energy, the community, the passion, the heart.... so many new lifters, so many pr's.... it was all just so truly amazing!! Thank you to my coach Jason Dolby for bringing the energy and the spirit of lifting to a whole new level and sharing your love and passion for the sport with us.
I am truly honoured and blissfully proud of my team Platkats!!! They left it all on the platform and did phenomenal!! ππͺβ€οΈ
