A committee has been assembled to look at the potential of developing a year-round multi-sport racquet facility involving (but not limited to) tennis, racquetball and pickleball in the Greater Moncton Area.

Well the last match did not finish until 9:15 pm on Sunday but we got it done and what a huge success the National Bank Atlantic Masters was this past weekend. The Shediac Tennis Club is proud to be hosting the National Bank Atlantic Master's tournament this weekend Friday August 5 to Sunday August 7.

Come and watch some of the best tennis the Atlantic Provinces has to offer. Admission to watch the matches is free for all.

We will also be selling raffle tickets to draw many prizes such as a pair of via rail tickets, four Ottawa Senators ticket, a pair of Montreal Canadiens tickets and many other prizes. The draw will be held Sunday and all proceeds will go towards helping to fund future infrastructure projects at our club!

It's back! Our first Sunday morning social doubles is tomorrow from 9 am to 1 pm for members of all skill levels! Come and learn the doubles game or simply come out and have some fun!

C'est de retour! Notre première session de doubles amicale du dimanche matin à lieu demain de 9h à 13h pour nos membres de tous niveaux d'habileté. Venez apprendre le jeu du double ou bien venez nous rejoindre pour vous amuser!

It is with great enthusiasm that we now offer our previous members the
option of renewing their membership for the 2016 season online.

The steps are as follows:

1- Go to http://www.shediactennis.ca/English.htm and select "Online
Services" under the Members section of the "Services" heading;

2-Click on "Membership Renewals" and then choose your name in the list
and click on "Send request for renewal".

3-An e-mail will then be sent to the address that we have on file for
you to inform you of the next steps to follow.

4- Click on the link in the email to access and update your individual
or family membership information. Here you will be able to indicate
your interest in league play or lessons for the upcoming season as
well as you contact information.

5-You will then receive an invoice of your balance owing which is
payable either by PayPal, at the general registrations or in person
once the clubhouse is open.


This process will significantly reduce the time devoted by the club’s
employees and volunteers to the registration process.

We encourage you to try this new service and once again be part of the
second largest tennis club in the Atlantic Provinces in less than 5
minutes!

www.tenniscanada.com In their second year of playing wheelchair tennis, sisters Alyssa and Renelle Belliveau were used to mostly just sharing the court with each other. That changed when they competed in their first tournaments this summer at the Shediac Tennis Club in New Brunswick.

A reminder that the 7th Annual COOP Competitive Singles Tournament for members of the Shediac Tennis Club will be held from August 19 to 23 (Wednesday to Sunday).

Many courts are therefore reserved for the tournament, please check our website in the "Courts / Reservations" section for the list of these times.

We are sorry for any inconvenience however you are invited to come cheer for the tournament participants and to follow the results on our website. This year, we have a record of 60 players in the tournament!

For those who are participating in the tournament, you can find the matches scheduled and the tournament rules on the Club's website in the "Competitive Singles" section.
