Sookarama is on April 20 10am-3pm at SEAPARC! This annual free event is designed to showcase Sooke’s amazing local businesses and community groups, including 70 + organizations. Come check out the vendors and great entertainment including a line-up of local musicians, line dancing demonstrations and a performance by Amber Academy Youth Fine Arts Society - Sooke. Free shuttle bus, courtesy of Gypsea Bus Charters will be offered between Sooke River Campground & Seaparc. Rotary Club of Sooke silent auction will be running throughout the day. I was just sat here wondering about a ritual for the eclipse and saw this post which really resonated with me ♥️

The Eclipse is a sacred time between Grandmother Moon and Grandfather Sun, involving Mother Earth.

It is an energetic moment they share pertaining to the events of our world. You should request that they help us move from darkness to light in all aspects of worldly affairs and personal matters.

Speak your prayers and intentions into a “glass” of water and leave outside during the eclipse.

It is important that you honour their sacred connection and give them privacy at this time.

After the eclipse, offer your water to Mother Earth by pouring the water upon the ground.

Speak out loud - I give you my prayers and Intentions with unconditional love ❤️

Imbolc marks the transition point of the threefold Goddess energies from those of Crone to Maiden; Brigid (also known as Bride, Brigit, Brid) is the Goddess of fire, healing and fertility and symbolises the first signs of spring: the return of the sun, first sprouting of leaves and Crocus flowers etc. Imbolc also marks the recovery of the Goddess after giving birth to God. The lengthening periods of light awaken her. The God is a young, l***y boy, but his power is felt in the longer days. The warmth fertilises the earth (the Goddess) and causes seeds to germinate and sprout – and so, the earliest beginnings of Spring occur.

Based on ancient East Indian Ayurvedic principles, Indian Head Massage activates energy points that affect the wellness of the whole body, with gentle massage of the upper chest, shoulders, neck, head, face, and ears using a range of different techniques.

The treatment helps to relieve stress, reduce tension, and increase flexibility in stressed and overworked muscles resulting in the body, mind and spirit feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, energized and balanced.
