We revitalized this home with three colours of cork. While securing boards for the first colour we found water damage. But after some extra repairs and cork this house has a brand new look. And the home owners are already reporting an improvement of the sound barrier from the bus stop out side.

Our last day on the job and I followed one of these pups home as he wonders away with a bag of nails from our work trailer. Only to find our missing bottle of dye. I’m so thankful our product is nontoxic as I never expected a dog to be a collector of stuff. I wonder what else he has of ours other than one of Jody’s gloves. Silly dog. Lol

Big or small we do it all. From a simple fresh or a full gut and redo do. This is the Kitchen we wrapped up this past week. Now we move into their basement for some changes.

This beautiful custom yellow Vipeq Thermal Corksheild house was sprayed last summer. It sits nice and bright lake side here in Alberta. Ready to withstand all of the wonderful weather that comes with living so close to a lake.

Here are the final result of my newest custom colour. It doesn’t have a name so if you have a suggestion let me have it.
I have partnered it with Mocha Brown in the one picture. For they complement each other beautifully.

With spring in the air. We thought it was about time for another new custom colour of cork. I sprayed first coat today and it’s looking good. Stay tuned for the final results…..

Here’s some pics from a basement we help develop last winter. We sheeted and finished the walls, installed interior doors and suspended ceiling.

Living in a basement suite doesn’t have to feel like your living in a dark dungeon. This space was designed to feel open, spacious and comfortable.

I love using creative solutions. While developing their basement the homeowners had us address reoccurring failure to the corner beads of the drywall on the ceiling beam and support. We cladding and trim the beams, now they are functional and visually appealing. And with some addition trim work we tied in the look of the existing gate, and interior doors. Then we mirrored the look of the upstairs beams downstairs on the boxed in tele-post and plumbing stack.

As the 2022 Cork season is coming to a close JB Cork Solutions is starting to book for our General Constructions Season. Our first project of the 2022 corking season was a custom purple. This was such a fun colour to create and for such a wonderful couple. There is very little time left in the corking season. And I’m missing it already.

We custom built this entertainment unit out of a Douglass Fir Tree and some Natural Stone our customer had. What beautiful material we were given to work with. This was a fun one.
