This nice looking two story is all wrapped up and was a perfect reminder that I don’t like using densglass. Managed to get the boom all greased up and ready for our next project which is pretty interesting. 🐷🐷🐷🌬️🐺.
Happy this one’s starting to look like the picture
Spent the last few weeks building this Timber staircase and railings also trimmed out all windows doors and baseboards.
Merry Christmas from our home to yours.
Got this guy out of the way,now back to building what I love. Stay tuned it’s a beauty.
To be Honest I’ve never been a fan of quartz as I think natural stone is better. But we’ve been putting it through a few tests before we went ahead and installed it. 24 hours wine test ✅ hot pots and pans✅ cutting on it ❌
This was my first Vinyl floor installation, I tried two methods loose lay and glue down. If I was to do it again I’d go with the glue down method all day!
Overall I’m very happy with the results.
Hung up the for a few weeks and picked up a finishing hammer, paintbrush, staining sponge, drill and a trowel. More posts to come.
😬Taking over the subdivision with being 46’ long we’ll be getting a crane in on Monday. Lots of work ahead especially when the next ones getting backfilled. If your looking for Adult living bungalow check out
This first picture is 100% stick framed, Chris and I did out of 2x10-2x12, 13 gables 12/12 slope. wish I had pictures before I sheeted it I love the challenge unfortunately like I said there’s not a lot of opportunity. But these next photos are trusses and timber framed which also requires a certain skill level to due it right. Everyone need to start somewhere it’s up too you on how much you are willing to challenge yourself to grow.
Moving on to the next site. We cruised right through this one unfortunately the windows are not ready yet. Thanks

Well this one’s pretty well wrapped up definitely didn’t go as planned falling into the Christmas holidays and then a deep Freeze but here we are ready to go on the next one!
This was definitely the busiest Christmas holiday ever, spending almost every day working on the cabin and taking some moments to enjoy the ones around me. Unfortunately I never got to see everyone I wanted but just know I was thinking of you all and one day this cabin will be a place to just relax and enjoy family and friends. Best wishes for everyone in 2022
Definitely could get down with working inside during the winter lol. Cabin cabinets are installed now to get some countertops.
This job site started off so nice and now it’s the opposite, Damn you today was wrap up day and of course heating guys, insulation/drywall guys are a no show and windows are delayed. So we’ll be back at some point in the meantime enjoy the weather 😁
Main floor to second floor this past week. Should see trusses flying soon. I see lots of different ideas on hoisting walls this one is what I do it cost nothing, take some of the metal banding from your lumber lifts and nail it to the top plate and the studs where your lifting from.
This shop is all wrapped up literally, gave the builder a hand throwing on some tarps before we left. Always using the laser to set post heights for our beams keeping everything as perfect as we can, even in the Sunshine I was able to find the green laser on my black speed square.
Been a tough week! but Chris and I pushed though to get this shop up, way up. What a unit imagine what you could do with one of these in your back yard. We’ll finish up up next week.
Cordless tools have come a long way and they just keep getting better. It was a pretty short week on this shop but thing should be looking pretty awesome after this week!
We had an awesome week getting this shop going. We Love working out of town with room to move. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!! Enjoy your weekend.
Duplex is a wrap and all cleaned up! Once the duct work is completed we’ll get the drops framed in the basements. On to the next one.
Can’t believe it’s been 8 years since Lily became a part of our family and are crew! This Duplex is basically wrapped up we’ve got a few things to clean up Monday. Then off to built a massive shop I’m excited. Have a great weekend!
I remember this day like yesterday,I had just came to Alberta framing my first house went back to my parents house at coffee break and couldn’t believe what was on TV ❤️broken seeing what was happening. Love to all #911
Finished this guy up Wednesday but with the windows being 8 days late and an EXTRA long weekend, we returned today to install the windows just to find out there’s 4 doors and two windows back order still. 😏next one is good to go love when the basement is filled with washed rock before we start.
Late Thursday afternoon we were able to get Leo to come give us a hand to set the trusses as I couldn’t reach with the boom. Gotta love not having any room to work! Gabel’s are levelled and facia’s straight so we can drop sheets Monday. Have a great weekend!!
