ART AUCTION for Mental Health!

I'm very excited to be taking part in this auction at Londonderry Mall here in Edmonton (and online). Please read below for the details. If you find it to be a cause that hits home for yourself or your loved ones please consider sharing this post to help get the word out. There are 66 artworks in this auction, all by local artists and so much to choose from.

ARTWORK DETAILS
"Let Go" is meditative.
It's a HUGE piece I painted to create a space that invites the viewer in to explore their own thoughts and experiences within the depth of lights and darks.
Free flowing shapes and forms hide and then are discovered by the viewer as
they allow their eyes to wander. Some see animals, some see people, or maybe a combination of both.
"Let Go" is kind of like a story that tells itself when you take a step back.
When you view it a second time you may find it has changed and you now see
yourself in a completely new story with new circumstances or maybe it’s the
same story but with a whole new perspective.

AUCTION DETAILS
"As we move into the holiday season, we want to remind our community of the importance of mental health. We want to offer an opportunity to listen, educate and understand mental health and to give those who live with mental illnesses a chance to speak to their story or find inspiration in others.

ARTfullness is a Silent Auction that will be held from November 26th to December 11th at Londonderry, featuring local artists depiction of mental health through the form of art during their journey through COVID-19. For those living with mental illnesses, art can be an outlet to find peace and clarity. We are honoured to be able to showcase such talent and allow the raw beauty of these pieces to be on display within our walls.

Half of all proceeds will be donated to Canadian Mental Health Association, with the other half going back to the wonderful artists who created the pieces. "

ARTfullness silent auction is open!!

This is an important time of year to be thinking about mental health and the affects it has on our community and us as individuals.

I’m excited to participate in this show, my painting titled “Let Go” was created with the intention of drawing the viewer in to explore their own thoughts and experiences.

You can bid online or see the work in person at Londonderry mall. Half of the proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association and the other half goes to the local artists that created each piece.

The auction is running until Dec 11th. Winners will be notified Dec 12th to pick up their piece.

Sky Water Ornaments

Landscape ceramic ornaments inspired by a summer of blue skies and calm waters. All 25 are hand painted and each one is unique, painted on both sides, packaged in it’s own pouch and ready to hang with ivory silk ribbon.

Though they are all unique, they do have a lot of similarities, so this year they’ll all be randomly selected for each order, so a surprise upon recieving.

Launching November 12th, early access will be sent out to email subscribers at 10am MST, with full access for all at 4pm MST. 😃

Just picked up these adorable little canvas board circles to make some ornaments!! Now to decide in the subject matter…. 🤔
