The way your spouse drives with one hand on the steering wheel, and one hand holding yours. How the person on the crosswalk looks up at you with an appreciative smile, and a little wave. A song playing on the radio that takes you back.

Sitting with your family for dinner, and looking around the table, taking in the beautiful family you’ve made. Seeing something that reminds you of someone you love that’s in Heaven, and feeling them with you for even just a moment. Soaking in the magic of a morning sunrise, or an evening sunset.

I promise if you start taking notice of the little things throughout your day, you’ll also start to notice the joy in your life multiply.

JUNE MARKET STATS ARE OUT!

“The market as a whole is at its plateau for the season,” says REALTORS® Association of Edmonton 2024 Board Chair Melanie Boles. “We’re likely going to see the number of sales continue to decline as we approach the end of summer, but our average prices don’t seem to be declining as much.”

Here’s a little breakdown:

- June sales were up 10% from the year before.
- There were 2.6% more homes listed than the previous year.
- The average sale price was $438,973

“We could be looking at the peak of our spring market right now, with 4,325 new listings having just hit the market,” says REALTORS® Association of Edmonton 2024 Board Chair Melanie Boles. “It also appears that current interest rates haven’t put a dent in buying activity this year, with more than 500 additional sales closing this month compared to May 2023.”
