Last month, Altomaxx was on the scenic shoreline of Lake Michigan, Illinois, participating in a research and development coastal erosion study. Utilizing bathymetric LiDAR from LiteWave Technologies and other bathymetric technologies, Jared Seufert spent a week onsite exploring how erosion impacts small communities.

Evan works out of our head office in his home province of Newfoundland and Labrador, having completed the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) program at Memorial University’s Marine Institute. As an RPAS operations specialist, Evan travels across North America performing LiDAR, thermal, and ground-penetrating radar surveys for our clients. Evan is also one of our most experienced confined space pilots.

Steve and Chris from AltoMaxx Technologies are back in Norway this week, discussing multiple projects and a number of compliance conversations regarding ISO 21384-3.

While in Oslo, they were honoured to be invited to the Canadian Embassy for tea with Amy Baker, the Ambassador of Canada to Norway, to discuss our operations and long-term strategic goals. They also spent the day with Tone Nymoen, the Trade Commissioner of Norway, attending the 2024 EAGE - European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers annual conference and exhibition and expanding their network.

Our RPAS Operators, Harrison and Wilson, were recently in the field conducting confined space inspections on storage tanks. Our advanced drone technology enables quicker, more accurate preliminary visual inspections at a lower cost and with significantly reduced risk.
