Thank you everyone who sent me well wishes for my birthday this past weekend🤍🎂 I spent wonderful quality time at home with friends & family, landscaping our new property & taking in the nice weather. I am so lucky to have such an amazing supportive community of people who enrich my life personally & professionally 🤍 Not only was it my birthday, had it’s four year anniversary.… where has the time gone. Over the past four years I’ve accomplished goals that I didn’t know I even wanted to pursue (before the age of 22 at least). Professionally; I became self-employed, I’m able to make my schedule (which allows me to have a fulfilled social life), I get to work from my home (with my puppy 🐶), I have amazing return clients who I’ve watched go through beautiful milestones & I’m able to provide for my little family. Personally; I moved out on my own, met the love of my life, made some amazing friends, did some travelling, bought my dream car, Jake surprised me with my own puppy & We bought our first home together 🤍 I came a long way from the girl who started this with wide eyes & a lot of doubts at 18. It is because of everyone reading this post that I am able to pursue my passion & continue to do what I love. Thank you for having me be apart of your most intimate moments, cheering me on through every triumph & tribulation, engaging with my social media, continuing to choose me for your special events & for giving me the opportunity to meet “clients” who now are some of my closest friends. Thank you for giving me so many reasons to celebrate. I am forever grateful 🫶🥂

I look at this photo so fondly…
was my beautiful New Year’s Eve bride for 2023. During this time I was near deaths door with influenza which made Christmas no fun for me 🫣 it was so mentally hard not to get to celebrate one of my favourite holidays and keep my distance from family and friends. Although I was recovered mostly by New Year’s Eve, I still had no energy, was feeling really low & honestly dreaded having to get out of bed this day… I got up, did my hair, didn’t have enough energy for makeup and went to work; once I was there everything changed. I was greeted so warmly with the beautiful bridal party, ecstatic with my work product & was so excited for this couple on their wedding day. I hope you can see the joy I felt after this. No makeup, drained of all energy, barely getting through the day & this changed everything. THIS is why I love what I do. Although this is a niche circumstance, I want to remind everyone about your control on perspective and how this moment changed mine on the situation. As beautiful and glamorous as this industry can be, I have my hard days as much as any other business owner. The context behind this makes me even more happy that somehow going to work changed my day & will continue to do so. I hope you can find the same purpose in your day today 🤍

I’m sure I’m not the only one in a rut this time of year… Right?¿ Something about this post Christmas- Pre- summer stretch becomes so hard for me mentally. Business is slower, it’s all about taxes and administration & I don’t get to interact/create as much and that’s just my personal life as a small business owner but I know tax season SUCKS for everyone (except your local CPA 😏). Contrary to the photos above: I do not look like that on the regular and even I struggle with taking time to prioritize self care. As we’re approaching Valentine’s Day, as much as I love the holiday, it’s so important to love yourself and treat yourself. No matter what your relationship status: single, married, in a relationship with your pet (me 🤚) make sure you invest in yourself. Whether it’s a new skincare product, lingerie just for you, an empowering photoshoot, a movie night at home or your favourite takeout YOU DESERVE to rest, enjoy and celebrate little victories in your day to day. Like I mentioned, this time of year can be hard for everybody! If you want a pick me up, someone to chat to or to invest in yourself a bit more this time of year please do not hesitate to reach out to me. In addition to that, I recently started a page called “wellness and beauty by Julie” that centre’s around wellness, behind the scenes, self care, cleaning your home, you name it and it could possibly be the sense of community you’re craving. Make sure you put yourself out there, connect and look after yourself. Happy Galentines day everybody ❤️ Are you going to make yourself a priority?!

Hi everyone! (Warning long post ahead)
If you haven’t seen my story from yesterday (make sure you check it out 😉) I announced I’ve decided to grow my business and add Independent consultant to my resume. I’ve joined under my friend who I’ve been getting my Arbonne products from for the past few years. It started like most things where I thought I’d never be interested and I just gave the products a try to support a friend of mine but I truly did fall in love with them. My favourite thing about Arbonne is the simple pure ingredients that is safe for people with sensitive skin, allergies, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, or people who just don’t know where to start and might be doing more harm than good to their skin by buying whatever product is trending at the time. MLM’s get such a bad reputation and some (if not most of it) is warranted but the reason I decided to join the Arbonne team was mainly for the sense of community it brings to my life. From weekly coaching calls, group outings, to making great friends, it’s helped me in my Beauty business and I’ve learned so much in the short time I’ve been apart of the team. Being self employed can be isolating especially during our “slow season” and in the past I’ve picked up second jobs to keep myself motivated during this time of year but I found it would take me away from my business endeavours. Being able to offer a line of products I believe in to my clients helps me to throw myself further into the future of Beauty by Julie. As my clients know, even before becoming a consultant I’ve carried their skincare products in my makeup kit because I get the best results from it and regularly use it at home as well. I don’t want this to detour people from my page, I promise you won’t be flooded with shameless product promotions or pressured into sales but I wanted to be completely transparent in my motives for joining the Arbonne team.
