Welcome back! Our first event of the semester will be our welcome back mixer on September 27th from 4-6pm in the great hall! A wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know your peers π₯ The mixer will be followed by Dr. Rankinβs symposium reception at 7pm, where youβll be able to meet experts in the archaeological field! Don't miss out on the first archaeology seminar of the school year.
This talk will be a great opportunity to learn from an expert on palaeolithic archaeology. It will also be a great opportunity to discuss ideas amongst peers.
Coming up is the final candidate talk for the Maritime Archaeology position! Bryn Tapper will be giving his lecture on April 2nd at 4pm! This will be in QC2013.
Undergrad and Grad students can meet with Bryn in a more informal setting at 9:30 the following morning (April 3rd). Hope to see you there!

Drop by and take advantage of reading week to get ahead of your papers and assignments! Come and study in a group environment, with peers in your classes or who have taken your classes before. All are welcome, no need to only study arch!

If you're interested in field school this summer, make sure to attend the info session (Jan 24th at 11:45 in QC2013)or reach out to Dr. Losier! Field school is an amazing way to get experience and necessary credits, not to mention an amazing bond with staff and peers!
"Building a Career in Archaeology" will focus on highlighting to attendees what opportunities, experiences, and networking avenues they can explore to further their careers in Archaeology. It will include workshop elements like brainstorming with peers and building out parts of a resume.
