It's nice to meet you. Let me introduce myself. My name is Ashley. I am a psychotherapist in Stratford, ON but can see anyone virtually in Ontario and even some places beyond. It is getting into the time of year where people tend to book up their schedules and have less time available for themselves. If this tends to be you, no fret, take some time and book in those appointments: massage, hair, nails, pedicure, & therapy! Most places book up and booking in advance can save you a lot of disappointment when you may need it most.

Reflecting back on times where I felt I had no one to turn to. It was isolating. It was lonely. It downright sucked.
Know that you don't have to be alone. And you don't have to have all the answers. Just be willing to let it out.
No one ever prepares us for the negative feelings. No one ever lets us know it's normal and we aren't dying. One of the worst feelings is when there feels like a hole inside you AND you feel like you are crazy.
Feelings are normal. Yes, even the yucky ones. You aren't crazy. You aren't weird. You are human and you aren't safe right now.
Take care of yourself first.
Our couples counseling sessions can help you rebuild trust, improve communication, and create a solid foundation for a healthy and happy relationship. Whether together or by yourself. You don't need to suffer in silence.
