Stratford Yard sale City wide

We would just like to thank everyone who participated in the Stratford City Wide Yard Sale last weekend. There were over 50 homes signed up for the Google Map and also many more additional sales. The weather co-operated (we take full credit for that!) and we hope that you got rid of all your stuff and/or got new stuff. Speaking of stuff, it is Treasure Hunt Weekend this weekend in Stratford, so if you have any stuff you didn’t sell or stuff you bought and are already regretting, put it out at the curb. It will be gone in no time! For next year’s sale, we are considering the same weekend (second last weekend of June, so we don’t conflict with Treasure Hunt) but we’re open to suggestions. Actually, we are open to any useful suggestions (and also kudos for the great job we did too!). Just message us and let us know. Until then, start that pile for next year’s yard sale!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that this year has been complete chaos and I haven’t been able to keep up with everything. I’m working 3 jobs, my best friend was on life support (she’s better now and still with us thank goodness, but that was a tough road to go down and took up a lot of my “spare” time), friends have passed away, but I became a grandma too so it wasn’t all bad news all around! I also have my own family to look after on top of everything else so I wasn’t able to keep up with the city wide yard sale stuff. It’s most definitely still going on and if anyone is tech savvy and can help me figure out how to make a map of those who have registered, it would be appreciated. I’m really sorry I’ve let you all down. Next year will make up for this year:) spread the word and if nothing else HAVE A YARD SALE ON THE 19th or get out there and support those who put their efforts into these sales and help them get rid of what they are selling.
