My clients changed the footprint of their kitchen so they needed the flooring patched. Fortunately they had lots of extra. They areas left exposed will be covered by their new cabinets

Their main bathroom is done. Ensuite is next in January. On this one the client went with an 18” deep vanity which gave the otherwise narrow path a more welcoming look

My clients liked their kitchen that I did for them a few years ago so when it was time to update their bathroom they gave me a call.

This Galley Kitchen was part of a full townhouse reno.
I posted some pics earlier of removing the wall and finding duct work inside which I had to move.
The wall with the fridge was extended 12 inches to create a larger entrance at the other end. A faux header was removed as well at the entrance to open up the space even more. The surprise feature of this kitchen is the recessed spice cabinet the client requested. The front door was this large blank canvas that needed some style so I installed some mouldings to give it some life. My client requested a barn door for the basement stairs but when I showed her my external pocket door that I did on a previous reno she quickly agreed and the results speak for themselves.

This was a full Townhouse renovation so my client was tired of the old stair railing and wanted something modern. She found a style she likes and I found a stair company who could make it happen.

Throw back Thursday. Here’s a job from 2018 that was a lot of fun to do. The entrance from the garage needed better functionality so we removed the closet doors, cut a hole in the wall and reclaimed some area from the excessively large laundry room on the other side which is still a very functional space. They had some extra floor tile but not enough to do the whole new area so we bought some complimentary tiles and created a feature on the floor of the new walk-in closet. Cabinetry and a bench were added for extra storage.

Here is how I installed skirting onto stairs that will be carpeted. I came across numerous videos online that show a scribing method but who wants to cut around stair nosing if you don’t have to?

When I suggested to my client that we could remove this wall with the doorway to extend her kitchen she was all for it. Who knew there were vents in the wall? HVAC is becoming a second job for me. I installed a transition vent that fits above the cabinet above the fridge so that all the duct work will be hidden
