So far, sales are down from August, but we had a long weekend in there, which is traditionally a slow weekend for sales. Inventory is up, meaning many people holding off on the summer probably put their home on the market now! Let’s see how the Fall market shapes out.

Usually the number of units available in a year peaks around June or so… this year, the inventory climbed over the summer…however, now that September is here, it appears as though we reached the peak of inventory levels for 2024, and now we’ll start to see a decline as we head towards the end of the year.

Did you know after the Spring market ends, generally speaking, the next busiest market is the Fall, starting in September. It seems as though that will happen again this year, as July numbers indicate it is slower than June, and we will probably see numbers pick up once kids get back to school, and families make decisions about where they want to live after they start their Fall routine, with work and school.

Greg, is a licensed real estate professional with Macdonald Realty Ltd, and along with his wife, Liz, have had a career in real estate spanning more than 12 years. They are proud of the many accomplishments they’ve received, and the many friends they’ve made along the way.
Greg was born in the Lower Mainland and has lived in different parts of the city. Greg and Liz travelled extensively, including living abroad, before coming back home. Moving has given him the aptitude to anticipate potential problems thus ensuring his clients a smooth buying and selling process. He understands first-hand the excitement and uncertainties of relocating.
As the eldest daughter of a developer who built houses, offices and warehouses throughout BC, Liz was often by his side on the job-site. From her Dad, she learned the value of hard work and dedication at a very young age. Having experienced land development, sales and leasing up close and personal, she comes by her interest in real estate rightfully.
Together, Greg and Liz combined their entrepreneurial spirits in their previous business venture; an award-winning catering enterprise which they operated for several years, in which Liz was the President.
