Our golf game was less than average, but we still managed to capture a championship photo of the winners of great weather, great company, and a great day.

As of May 1, ICBC has eliminated validation decals.

Drivers are still required to carry the paper documents as issued (legible, without alteration) or their photocopies in their vehicle, for presentation at roadside stops and other purposes.

ICBC has made a one-time investment to enhance and modernize the Automated License Plate Recognition program and purchase new hardware helping law enforcement in B.C. detect unlawful, unlicensed and uninsured drivers.

Motorists have the option to remove, cover or keep the old decal in place.
They have also let other jurisdictions and borders know about these changes so you can have peace of mind traveling outside of B.C.

We wanted to give you a heads up that we will be closed Saturday August 27th as well as the Labour Day weekend.

With summer wrapping up we have made the decision to close the next two Saturdays - just in case you are looking for us!

We are calling August 27-28 "Ironman Weekend" and we are closing for the day Saturday. Andrew will be prepping to swim/bike/run in Ironman Canada in Penticton on Sunday, Charlene will be along for support, Bonnie will be on hand volunteering, Jarrett is off to visit family in Saskatchewan, Ashley will be celebrating her birthday, and Carolyn is simply enjoying the end of summer - so we made the decision to close an extra day.

For the Labour Day, we are continuing our long weekend tradition of closing both Saturday and Monday so we will be closed Saturday September 3rd and Monday September 5th.

The Walk the Rock event is tomorrow!

Come on down to say hello - our tent will be located at the end of the walk near the West Beach observation point.

We will be celebrating and supporting all frontline workers who have been superheroes to us all through the Covid-19 pandemic. All funds raised will go towards critically needed equipment at Peace Arch Hospital to ensure our families and friends will have access to the very best care when they need it the most.

The walk will take place from 9am-12pm along the beautiful promenade and pier of White Rock Beach. Participants will receive a t-shirt, odometer, and swag bag with items that support a healthy lifestyle.

Our pal Sam started his BC Trek journey in Victoria yesterday!

His goal is to raise $15,000 for Third Space, which is a charity for mental health in Kelowna to support young people.

Sam will be pedaling his gravel bike from Victoria to the BC/Alberta border in a 1,500 km journey, climbing over 15,500 metres of elevation with the hopes to finish the ride in 16 days.
