After today we will need a chiropractor! Today was "BIG Lego Sets Day" as we unpacked brand new and restocked adult Lego sets. Many of these sets are hard to find and exclusives for select Independent Lego Stores like ourselves. School is back and the days are getting shorter —- time to clear out some summer toys! Our Outdoor Sale is on, with select outdoor toys, games, scooters, and beach toys are all 30% off! In store only!

Each year as a company we like to take the pulse of the retail industry and see what major trends are emerging, especially from our "big box" competitors. It is no surprise that AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a dominant theme, ranging from how big companies analyze and collect customer data, to how they use that data to direct market to their customers. Chatbots, virtual assistants, and even robots are also on the list. Billions are being spent by these big retailers as the AI race ensues.

Here at Sputtergotch we certainly invest into technology, with further enhancements to our website, and recent upgrades to our computer systems. Small potatoes really in the grand scheme of things. However, as a small, local company, we will always put a premium on HUMAN INTERACTION when it comes to shopping in our store -- a trend we feel "big box" lacks. We will always promise:

It’s been a CRAZY day downtown — Sidewalk Days are in full swing with some great bargains! We are all open late til 8 tonight!

We have been busy all day preparing for the start of Sidewalk Days tomorrow! We have a ton of blowout items, one offs and special pricing on puzzles, games, crafts, Lego, outdoor toys and a whole lot more. Downtown will be open until 8pm tomorrow -- be sure to check out the excitement!

Morgan and Calista have put together their “Faves of the Week” selection as we all get geared up for the Long Weekend! We are all looking forward to couple days off after a very busy restocking week. We will be closed this Sunday and Monday.
