Shame is a self-conscious emotion that can cause someone to be very hard on themselves. It can be harmful to a person's mental health if it is left to its own devices.

Knowing when and how to apologize can be hard sometimes but taking time to reflect on your actions can help you to understand what happened. An apology cannot always fix the wrong but that doesn't mean it isn't important because it does show the person or people involved that you are willing to learn and prevent the mistake from happening again.
The weekend is coming to a close and as we all take time to unwind it is a great time to reflect on the week. Journaling or meditation are great ways to aid in reflection and relaxation!
Guilt can be harmful to your mental health if it is unproductive and continuous because it can contribute to anxiety, depression, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. Taking time to reflect on your feelings or seeing a therapist to talk about what you are feeling are good ways to help you cope.
This week we will be discussing guilt. Guilt is a complex emotion that is often misunderstood or equated with shame. However, guilt is something that needs to be understood in terms of whether it is productive or unproductive as guilt can have a detrimental effect on a person's mental health.
Letting go is hard but if it is something you can't control the outcome for then try your best to free your mind from the worries. 😌

Therapy is for everyone! There are different kinds of therapy you can attend such as individual or group and you can even attend therapy online or via phone call.
Going to therapy shouldn't have the stigma that it does. If you would treat a physical health issue why would you not treat a mental health issue? Mental health matters and so does the treatment of it.
Be yourself, imperfections and mistakes are a natural part of life nobody is ever perfect no matter what their social media might suggest. Don't let a fear of being imperfect keep you from living your life to the fullest. Easier said than done, trust me, we know!
