🌙 Are you ready for the #SolarEclipse this Monday, April 8? Looking directrly at the sun without appropriate eye protection can lead to irreversible eye damage. Eye protection is required AT ALL TIMES when viewing a partial solar eclipse. Northern Ontario is outside of the path of totality so we will experience a partial solar eclipse. During a solar eclipse, it's important to wear special glasses with ISO 12312-2 inernational standard which are designed for eclipse watching. Please check your local retailers for glasses. Regular sunglasses are NOT suitable for watching the eclipse. For eye safety tips and other ways to watch the eclipse, please visit the Canadian Space Agency's website: https://www.asc-csa.gc.ca/eng/astronomy/eclipses/solar-eclipses.asp#protection
